Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe und zu Fuß zu erreichen. "

"Schöne gemütliche kleine Wohnung. Das Schlafzimmer ist total urig, vll. nicht so gut geeignet bei Platzangst. Für 4 Personen wäre sie mir persönlich zu eng. Ausstattung ist auch gut. In der Küche alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sehr viele Bücher, die einem bei schlechtem Wetter die Zeit vertreiben. Der Vermieter total gechillt und unkompliziert. Hat gleich Tipps gegeben für die Umgebung und den Ort. Würde wieder buchen, wenn ich nochmal in Betzenstein wäre."

"Die Ferienwohnung ist genau wie das Örtchen schön, gemütlich und sehr gepflegt. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Pottenstein, Gößweinstein, Teufelshöhle etc. sind von hier aus sehr schnell zu erreichen sofern man ein Auto oder Fahrräder hat oder nichts dagegen hat auch mal eine halbe Stunde zu Fuß zu gehen. Der Check-In und Umgang mit dem Vermieter ist total freundlich und absolut unkompliziert.Definitiv zu empfehlen, wenn man in der fränkischen Schweiz Urlaub machen möchte."

"Het verblijf was heerlijk, rustige omgeving, ontzettend vriendelijke mensen, mooie omgeving als je er echt op uit wilt trekken in de natuur. We hadden de hond mee en achter het verblijf begint meteen een groot stuk bos, ideaal om meteen een ochtendwandeling te maken. Op zondag is het terras open en kan er gegeten en gedronken worden. Mooi uitzicht op Pleystein vanuit het huisje. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en je kunt er altijd terecht met de vragen en advies voor uitjes....

Auch der Vermieter machte einen sehr freundlichen, sympathischen Eindruck. Diverse Renovierungen/ Neuerungen könnten mal vorgenommen werden. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We knew it was an Ibis Budget when we booked so were expecting limited facilities as we have stayed with this chain before, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay. The room was compact, had facilities to hang clothing but no where to put other clothing this had to remain in the suitcase for the duration of the stay. Bathroom was great, lovely shower with plenty of hot water. No drink making facilities in the room but again we were aware of this limitation with the Budget chain so took plenty of water and soft drinks. It was a short walk from the railway station and there was a local bus that ran frequently to take us to the Festival Hall where we watched Wagners Ring Cycle, for the more energetic it is within walking distance and we chose to walk back each night which was easy. This is the closest hotel to the Festspielhalle if you are attending the Festival, however, this does mean that you are a little bit further from the centre of the town, but again walking is not a great distance and buses are available. The only quibble, and it is a minor one is that the room cleaning was not very great. The bathroom was cleaned daily, bed made, but the floor was not swept/vacuumed once in our 8 day stay. Breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff worked really hard, big thank you to all the staff, reception and the bar were 24/7 so when we arrived after midnight we were able to check in and get a drink. Would recommend."

It’s a little far from the Festspielhaus (if you’re there for the Wagner festival), but they run a complementary shuttle to and from the operas, along with a complementary reception (with prosecco and snacks) right beforehand, which was a nice touch.
