"Spent 4 nights at Hotel Calissano in August while doing wine tours. Chose it based on a recommendation from the tour guide and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly at the reception, the bar, and the restaurant. It is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone of Alba so the location is excellent and easily accessible. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was a good size and very comfortable. Despite being next to the elevator, it was very quiet. Would happily recommend Hotel Calissano and will stay there again the next time I am in Alba."

"The property is very well maintained. Clean, updated and quite. Breakfast is a very nice spread with a variety of options. Only criticism is the internet connection is spotty...strongest signal near lobby. Would definitely return and stay here. "

"The perfect getaway in a quiet Italian village, away from all the noise of big cities! It was close enough to a small city to get what you needed but none of the traffic and noise. Staff was peasant, place was comfortable, and the 360 degree view of the surrounding area was breathtaking! Would recommend to anyone looking for a get way from the grind of daily life and loud, noisy cities!"

The spa was amazing for a moment to wind down and relax, and drinks by the pool were lovely.
