"Beautiful hotel, can’t think of a single fault. amazing value for money, rooms are big, clean and comfy and have a lovely balcony space. the family who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. it’s in a lovely location, just a short walk from the beach, gouvia centre and the marina. Bonus points for the hotel dogs snoopy and rosie! :)"
"No hot water in the bathroom.
The hot food at breakfast was cold and there was very little (3 rashers of cold bacon) for later comers. The coffee from a machine was undrinkable. The orange juice was poor. "
"Our stay at Silver Bay Hotel was very disappointing. We had booked a room with two large twin beds but were given one double and one single. The single bed was definitely not sleepable - the mattress was so lumpy you could feel the base beneath it. The double bed was a bit better, but still not comfortable.
The room was far from clean, and the bathroom was poorly designed. The shower caused water to flood the bathroom, and we had to run down to reception for extra towels to try to contain...

"We had a really lovely holiday. The villa was fantastic. The outside patio area overlooking the sea was really gorgeous & the views from it were beautiful. We hired a car to explore the island & we visited a few beach clubs. Locally we enjoyed the beach by the villa which has a lovely Taverna that we ate in a few times. We also went to a lovely fish restaurant that was five minutes walk from the villa. Kontakali is about 20 minutes walk from the villa & we walked in to it for drinks & dinner a few times throughout our stay. "

"quiet location with easy access to the beach down a steep slope, which you can either walk down or via buggy which the hotel runs for free. The food is classic Greek - high quality and varied with lots of choice, range of drinks on the all inclusive menu. There is a creche for children on the beach catering to the needs of parents, access to a range of watr sports. overall a great location, friendly hotel and enough shady areas on the beach with more than enough sun beds"
