"I loved the Sherman Inn!! Jim and Donna were so friendly and I loved the history throughout. Truly a unique and wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious, the beds comfortable, the rooms were huge and you couldn’t ask for better company. I will stay again when in Ogdensburg. "

"I have stayed twice and here is my take…. Rooms clean, staff friendly, shower heads need replaced as both times the heads needed delimed or replaced. They lack pressure, and looked like build up was causing them to spray every way but on you. Beds are ok, pillows are small and very smooshy. My kids came this time and were not impressed with breakfast. It’s a very basic hotel. It does have great location!! Its by walmart, dunkin, fort drumm, and other stores. "

"I arrived later than expected and was greeted by locked doors. The manager was actually not on site but instead at there sister property a mile up the road. She immediately came over and handed me my keys. Super courteous and very friendly. A surprisingly pleasant experience "

"Obviously we stayed there out of season. Therefore, even for the shops, bars, restaurants that were open for business, unfortunately we didn’t make it to because it was freezing out. Walking around was definitely not happening. Property did have some areas that would definitely benefit from maintenance work/normal wear and tear. "

"Hotel was OK. Clean enough, just very minimal and basic. It also has no elevator but two floors, so be aware of that if you have a lot of luggage. We asked to change to the first floor but were told the type of room we had (King with sofa?) was different than the rooms on the first floor - I am not sure of that. It just looked so outdated and unfinished. The toilet was small, of center and low to the ground. Bed was uncomfortable and on a very small and loud frame - the top Of the bed was also almost at an angle once you laid down. The TV was also outdated and not a smart tv. The floors were also weirdly uneven? Like there were parts that dipped in…"
