The room was tidy. And the owner was a nice guy. Don’t expect “fancy “ But note that for the money you can’t beat it. They have a nice kurig coffee maker and I would urge anyone to bring extra k cups. It had a cool vibe and no one bothered you.

Beautiful resort and beyond kind staff. Though a bit far from shopping and gas stations the quiet space is what this offers. The Wi-Fi did go out on the tv for most of the night but everything else was enjoyable and didn’t personally bother me too much to have tech issues. Definitely recommend!

The owner was very sweet and helpful. We spun out in the snow and needed a last minute place to stay. I felt so safe and welcomed at this place. He helped us out the best he could despite being in the middle of a snow storm. My boyfriend and I will forever appreciate all of the help the owner offered during a rough time

My wife and I recently planned a quick weekend getaway. We choose Pocono Mountain resort and spa for a couple of reasons. 1. Dog freindly. (They were very accommodating for traveling with our four legged member of our family.) Close to other things in area we have done in the past. (Everything seemed to be around 25-30 minutes which we didn't mind with the wonderful Mountain veiws) 3 reasonable price This is not the Hilton so don't expect it. If grandmom said come stay at my cabin in the mountains this place has that vibe. The staff and owner are nice and very sociable. The place is far from perfect and dated but thats what gives it its character. We are already planning our next trip back we loved it.

Let me start off by saying that this place is a beautiful place if you're looking for something antique and western, but overall, I must give this place three stars. It's very rundown, and the smell of mold rules the hallways. The place indicator says it's a smoke-free hotel, but it definitely isn't - all you smell are old cigarettes and pleading products. I appreciate that the young lady upgraded my room; the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for me to sleep in. The only issue was that the patio lights stayed on all night, and the curtains were thin, so the light bothered me. It also indicated they had a beach, but it was false - it's a swamp covered with trees and green mold. Overall, it was okay, but was it worth the amount I paid? No but that's how I get to experience things in the area by learning and never repeating the lesson again.

That place was very dusty. Look very rundown. Had cobwebs on the wall and ceiling. Just an old man and his wife running place. Bathrooms look unhygienic, The bedding look very old and used. Could not see myself laying in the bed. It's also a fire hazard, they got so many things plugged into one outlet with cords and camera wires going all over. The smell of mold and mildew I did see a few dead roaches in the lobby area and it look like rodents too. It's definitely not what is advertised online and what the pictures are showing. Don't get me wrong. This place look like it used to be very beautiful back in the days. I do love the vintage look. The place is just not upkept. Just needs better management. Old husband and wife cannot manage that place anymore. With new management that place may be what it once was. For now I would not recommend anyone staying there. The cigarette smells in the room. horrible! Really thought I was getting a deal but it turns out to be a scam because It's not what was advertised I cannot get my money back even though I did not spend one hour there. I was able to book with chain hotel holidays inn with free breakfast and the a pool which was a lot more comfortable.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were met with exceptional service & hospitality. Romantic, serene, comfort of home weekend getaway! Perfect way to relax & reboot mind, body, soul from the chaos of life. Internet/wifi service wasn't the best, BUT that ended up being an advantage to focus on us & enjoy each other even more! That being said, if you plan to listen to music I'd suggest a wire connected device &/or a pre-made playlist that doesn't require wifi. 10/10 we highly recommend & will return in the future!

I check in and I though was clean but when I uncovered the hot tub was dirty the toilet wasn't flushed properly, the bathroom tub wasn't draining properly so we decided to leave early on November 9 because we contacted Expedia and they can't do nothing about it but this place is bad I didn't recommend it to nobody. Is dirty and unsafe to people.
