Lovely and peaceful

This was a great place for us to stay for two nights. We love the area, it gives you a great feel for the community. It was a true farmhouse. Very clean, great communication with the owner, peaceful, great place to rest.

5 BR Farmhouse

This place is awesome!! It was a perfect holiday getaway for our family. The property was just as described and very convenient to Middlebury/Shipshewana. We will definitely come back to stay here.

Great place for extended family!

We had several families stay at this amazing farmhouse during our son’s wedding weekend. There is a nice private area off the side porch which we enjoyed. It was very clean. There were some extra touches that made the kids happy like snacks and corn hole. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Everything was perfect!

Girls weekend

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. Everyone had their own bed, and the dining room table was a great place to sit and talk. The property was as described and the host was very responsive.

Perfect place for our women's group

We had such a lovely time at the home. It is charming with plenty of room for our group of women to gather and enjoy time together. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean and welcoming. The host made everything so easy for us. Thank you somuch. I hope we can come back.

Amazing Overnight Stay

We had a group of 5 girls and 3 women stay overnight at the Yoder’s. The house was built by his grandfather and has a charm worth experiencing. We arrived later in the evening and were welcomed by a lit Christmas tree, decorated mantle and the electric fireplace going. There was water in the fridge, snacks and coffee. We loved the house and plan to stay again. The host was equally amazing.

House was a lovely blend of charming 80-year old farmhouse with modern updates for a comfortable stay. Peaceful scenery of Amish country. Comfortable bedrooms and surprisingly spacious inside. Our only challenge was that kitchen supplies and stove were somewhat limited, but we still managed to make do and cook meals for our group. Overall, we would recommend and definitely stay here again!

Girlfriends here for Shipsy shopping. Nice to be able to be together instead of hotel rooms.The house was like staying at grandmas house right down to the party line phone. Beds were comfortable, coffee, tea and snacks was a nice touch. Did I mention how clean it was. Thanks so much!

Farmhouse

We enjoyed staying here. Like being at your grandparent's house. It has 4 bedrooms upstairs, 1 downstairs with a twin and trundle twin. We enjoyed the buggies going down the road. Very relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious farmhouse! It was a great place to connect with family from other states as well as visiting with some in the area. Chris was great to communicate with, always responding right away. The water and snacks provided was a nice touch!

Our Venture Crew stayed here on our way home from our trip out west. The youth had a fire, grilled kabobs, watched the fireflies, and played games. It was a great wind down location on our last night of the trip. Great communication and so welcoming. On a personal note, reminded me of summer nights visiting my grandparents farm. Just lovely and relaxing.

80th Birthday

Wonderful time for family memories for Grandpa's 80th birthday. 10 of us stayed here comfortably. Grands enjoyed corn hole game while we sat on porch. Thank you for sharing your house.

Daudy Farm Shipshewana, IN

The outside of the home was not what we expected, but the inside was charming. Very clean, lovely furnishings. We would have liked to have had more handicap accessibility, but we also did not think to include that in our search for lodgings, so that is on us. Our communication with the owner was friendly and helpful and check was very easy. Very nice property!

Peaceful and calm

Three families had a weekend at the property and we all enjoyed our stay very much! The host has amazing communication and doesn’t have unrealistic expectations for guests that you sometimes see in short term rental apps. The property was beautiful and the home met all of our needs! We were especially happy to see the small details like fresh bouquet of flowers on the farm house table, extra shampoo conditioner toothbrushes etc if you forgot something of your own and plenty of room for us all to sleep peacefully but gather in or outside all together! For 12 people/3 families we absolutely enjoyed our stay and would stay again! The owners have definitely raised the bar for us and how we book anywhere else moving forward
