Wasn't really sure what to expect of the town or the gastehaus but very pleasantly surprised by both. Accommodation was perfect for our party of four and breakfast excellent. Very good value for money and a great place to stay. It's a decent walk into town but there is also a bus. Enjoyed our trips over the bridge into Poland. Altogether a really interesting place to visit.

Beautiful historic property that the pictures don't do justice to such as the breakfast room was nicely furnished and there was a fresh tulip on each table. Breakfast had a large selection well presented. The room was quiet and large room.

Goerlitz Gastehaus.
Wanted to see Goerlitz and the Gastehaus Lisakowski was ideal. The building dates back to the nineteenth century but suitably modernised whilst retaining its period character. Warm welcome. English spoken. Was able to park on the street right next door. Free map provided. It is about half a kilometre's walk or a short drive to the city centre. Clean room, Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Excellent value overall. Can recommend. Goerlitz (aka Goerliwood) is well worth a visit and the Gastehaus Lisakowski in particular.

Convenient location, friendly, excellent value
The Guest House is very conveniently located at walking distance to the station in the south west corner of the historic city. The atmosphere is very friendly and personal. The stay including breakfast was excellent value for money. Highly recommendable.

I tagged a few days vacation on to a business trip and moved from a 289Eu/night business hotel to a 30Eu/night small hotel. There was obviously a change in standard but I was pleased with what I received for my 30EU. My room was on the ground floor and had a double bed, private bathroom. Everything was beautifully clean. Bed was firm which I like. Plenty of hot water anytime of day for the shower and great water pressure. Two radiators in my room and I only needed them on very low, but again I could get the very hot if needed. No A/C (hey it's 30Eu!) so maybe an issue in the summer, but it was October and I was very comfortable. Plenty of food at breakfast but typical German style (cold meats, cheese, fresh rolls, eggs, yoghurt etc. Coffee was OK, I like it stronger normally. One member of staff spoke no English, another was fluent. I would suggest you should know enough German to book yourself in and understand when breakfast is served. And to say thank you! Wifi was fast and reliable, I could stream TV programs without issue. Area was fine. I left a nice new hire car parked outside with no problems and felt perfectly safe walking around at 11.00pm in the dark. Would I stay here again? Yes. I'm trying to work out if the 250Eu/night extra my business hotel cost was really justified as I was no less comfortable here.

This is a dingy hotel in a dingy neighborhood. Room smelled of cigarette smoke accumulation of many years. Cleanliness is okay, staff is pleasant enough though not often available. It is cheap and feels like it.

Great value for the price, with on-street parking and breakfast. Wifi doesn't work on the upper floors, and the lack of an elevator might be a problem for long-term luggage. Clean, comfortable, and a very helpful English-speaking staff.

Great little place..hidden gem
The manager was so friendly and helpful. The hotel room was large clean and comfy. Breakfast was tasty and the location was good. Quiet, peaceful stay. Hidden gem...recommend this hotel for anyone!

This is an old fashioned guest house on a quiet corner within walking distance of the railway station. There is no restaurant as such but the breakfast was as good as I have had anywhere in Germany. The public areas are very old fashioned and there is no lift to the upper floors, but the room was clean and simply furnished. It offers excellent value for money. There are many good restaurants in the old town area of Görlitz which are very reasonably priced and are located in some interesting old buildings.

Eine schöne Unterkunft zu einem wirklich guten Preis . Für ältere Menschen eher ungeeignet da es keinen Aufzug gibt und die Einstiege in die Dusche etwas hoch sind. Die Umgebung ist eher Langweilig bis zur wirklich schönen Innenstadt sind es ca 20 Minuten zu gehen. Leider gibt es in der nächsten Umgebung nicht wirklich etwas wo man abends hingehen könnte. Im großen und ganzen ein gutes Preis-wertes Gästehaus

Wir sind insgesamt recht zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Betten waren bequem, das Frühstück sehr gut und das Zimmer dem Rustikalen Stil des Gebäudes entsprechend eingerichtet. Fragwürdig war das Bad, welches zwar recht modern war, jedoch die Fliesen teilweise ohne Fugenmörtel waren und der Handtuchträger samt dessen Dübeln fast aus der Wand fiel. Das kann mal passieren, das sowas nicht ganz hält, die Fugen sollten allerdings, vor allem in der Dusche nachgebessert werden, nicht dass das am Ende einen Wasserschaden gibt. Lieb gemeinter Rat. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vielen Dank.

Okay, zum Übernachten geht's...
Es ist ein ausgebautes Hausy was allerdings eher einer unfertigen Baustelle ähnelt. Die Türen sind mit Blauschaum eingebaut, an den Wänden klebt noch Malerkrepp, Haken oder Halterungen sind locker, Staubnetze an den Wänden und auf den Fernseher kann man "Schwein" schreiben. Wohl fühlen ist hier fehl am Platz und auf Check in Nachfrage kam kaum eine Antwort. Alles müsste man aus der Nase ziehen. Persönlich darauf angesprochen wurde sich nicht entschuldigt, sondern eher der Versuch unternommen, sich zu rechtfertigen. Das Frühstück war okay, aber das war es dann auch. Wir sind bald wieder in Görlitz, aber im Hotel.

Zentrale Lage, Bahnhof und Zentrum sind fußläufig erreichbar - in die Altstadt sind wir allerdings mit dem Auto gefahren. Frühstück war sehr gut!! DOPPELZIMMER war groß und ruhig. Weder Hellhörigkeit des Hotels noch Straßengeräusche. Die Einrichtung ist nicht so ganz neu und nicht top in Schuss - aber ordentlich und weitgehend sauber.

Altes, außen renovierungsbedürftiges Haus mit Charme. Zimmer sind in gutem bis sehr gutem Zustand (nur die Türen sind deutlich abgewirtschaftet). Gutes Frühstück.

Es handelt sich um eine einfache und relativ günstige Unterkunft. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Da es nur einen Kaffeevollautomaten für alle Gäste gibt,kommt es zu relativ langen Wartezeiten am Buffet.

Für einen Kurz-Aufenthalt geeignet. Gute Betten, leckeres Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Das Haus ist direkt an einer Straßenkreuzung, daher kann man zur Straße nachts kein Fenster aufmachen, wenn man Lärmempfindlich ist. Ca. 20 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt zu Fuß.Kostenlose Parkplätze schwierig zu finden. Es gibt fast überall nur kostenpflichtige, zeitlich begrenzte Parkflächen. Mit etwas Glück kann man kostenlos in der Straße parken.

Reizvolles Ambiente
Das Flair von Görlitz hat mich beeindruckt. Das Hotel Lisakoski befindet sich in einem Gebäude mit ehemaligen Etagenwohnung und wird sehr liebevoll und mit viel Initiative geführt. Die Umgestaltung in ein Hotel ist noch nicht abgeschlossen, aber schon jetzt sieht man, dass es ein Schmückstück werden wird.
