Wonderful home right downtown from everything. Just a short drive or walk away. House was very clean and the hot tub was a great addition to the night. Thankyou for letting us stay at the cottage.

Beautiful house & Great host

From check in to check out everything was perfect. Host Daniel was in communication with me before, during and after our stay. The house was perfect for the 7 of us that stayed. The house was immaculate, extra pillows & blankets, pet friendly, games for those rainy days, beautiful fire pit amd hot tub to name a few. Short drive to Bird in Hand markets, the green Dragon, sight and sound theater ect. We'll be staying here when we visit Lancaster again.

Perfect Stay!

We loved this house!! It was so clean, beautifully decorated (exactly as pictured) and my three little children had the best time playing with some of the toys and books and playing in the backyard. Daniel was very accommodating and we are very thankful for the hospitality and would love to return!

Great House, Great Location

Everything about this rental was easy and comfortable. The location is perfect for all the area attractions, near food, shopping, and Amish activities. The hot tub was a really nice bonus, the house had everything we needed and was super comfortable. I would highly recommend this spot and stay here again anytime we visit the Lancaster area.

A perfect get away

We stayed at this cute cottage for a girls weekend. This doesn't happen often but this house is better then the listing! The space is beautifully decorated and clean. The hot tub and outside area are really fun. We greatly enjoyed the front porch and watching the horses go by. The hosts were very courteous and responsive. We can't wait to come back next year. The house is very close to shopping and restaurants- we had a full day of fun and enjoyed the house so much.

The pictures do not do justice. This quaint house in Amish country was clean and peaceful. The host was available if needed and very nice. My husband, dog, and our friends (another couple). We had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this lovely home! It was spotless, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent communication from the rental staff - very clear and easy check in and check out information. We were on an 8 day vacation, staying in a new place every night and this was hands down the entire group’s favorite!

Cozy stay in Intercourse, Pa.

Overall, the house was very clean and comfortable. The large TV in the living room was a very nice feature. Hot tub was very clean and easy to access. We did notice a slight musty smell when entering, there was no grill brush, and grill had discarded cigarette butts from last occupant.

It was very, very clean and obviously there have been many upgrades and renovations. I would absolutely recommend, and will absolutely book this again, if I ever had the opportunity! Beautiful all the way around.

Great stay and amenities

Stayed at daniels house for a long weekend with my husband, 2 year old as well as our friends and their 11/2 year old. House had everything you would need. Very child friendly, clean and updated and fire pit was an added bonus to hangout at when the kids fell asleep. Walking distance to restaurants and shops but put into consideration most are closed on Sundays. Staying here allowed us to enjoy a weekend away without feeling out of budget. Would definitely look to stay again when I return to the area.

Our experience was amazing! The home was super clean and welcoming! It was relaxing and a great place to unwind and reconnect with family. We loved the firepit at night! The kitchen was great too, I was able to bake and make meals for the family. The home was close to all the sights, museums, and farms. Lapp's Ice-cream is a must visit, not far from the house. The host was very accommodating and was very quick answer any questions that arose. We will be repeat customers!

Family time

This was definitely the best deal for our family stay consisting of grandparents from California, parents and 2 young children, 4 & 7, from Long Island. So happy you were available on a last minute road trip decision. Spent 2 days at Herseypark and the last day learning about the Amish culture including a smorgasbord dinner at Shady Maple. We had a fabulous time enjoying the fire pit, hot tub and relaxing beautiful environment. You're a hard-working, simple, humble, entrepreneural community that the younger generation needs to learn from. Thanks again and will think of your place should we come out this way again.

Sooo clean

Other than anticipating a more rural setting from the pictures, everything was absolutely perfect. It was a tremendously clean and obviously recently renovated/updated property. It was within walking distance of several places, including a couple of coffee shops that were tremendous! We looked forward to live music at one of them on Friday night and that was a bonus as well. The covered front porch was especially nice as I sat peacefully in the evenings with the clip clop of hooves every five minutes as an Amish buggy passed by. It was just a wonderful stay, and I’m hoping to come back to the very same spot in the future.

Look No Further! This One’s The BEST!

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay, look no further, this cottage has everything! From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, our stay was fantastic! I was very pleased when we checked in because the code on the door was original and a number we were familiar with. This made me feel safer knowing the code had just been changed for our visit. We then found an abundance of snacks and drinks all included with our stay. The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The house was meticulously cleaned, the sheets were so soft that I was swimming in them, there were pool towels for the hot tub and extra towels for the shower, fire wood and kindling for the fire pit, miniature shampoo bottles and soap, laundry detergent, extra blankets for when we sat on the front porch, adorable lights over the fire pit, charging abilities for us to charge our car…. The list just goes on and on. We loved the one minute walk to the cafe nearby. It opened at 6am and closed at 8pm. The menu had plenty of options to make everyone happy. The decor in the cottage was elegant and simple. The hosts have a great sense of style and the ambiance was welcoming. I can’t say enough about our stay. We had a fantastic time, worth every penny!

Cute house in the middle of Amish country

Our family had a great (but all too brief) stay at the Amish Guest House. The location is great, right in the heart of Amish country: most of the shops, restaurants, and attractions you might want to visit are within a short drive, and right nearby are great spots like Immergut Pretzels for a great snack, Stolzfus Meats for stuff to cook yourself or bring home, and lots of shops. The house itself is a cute property that's been nicely updated and is perfect for a small family or 1-2 couples. The availability of a NEMA 14-50 (50A) outlet for charging EVs was a huge bonus, alleviating the need to find places to charge; just make sure to remember to bring your own charger to plug into the outlet. There's a great fire pit for spending evenings outside, or a huge TV if you want to spend them inside. The house is on a fairly busy road, so you will hear road noise inside the house; however, it does quiet down at night, and we never found it to be an issue during our stay (we slept just fine). Daniel and Catherine were very responsive and easy to work with. We'd definitely enjoy staying again in the future.

Perfect house for our little family!

We had a great stay at this house. I was so expressed with the cleanliness of the home. White clean sheets, , floors clean, baseboards free of dust, kitchen everything was spotless. There was also a ton of clean towels including pool towels for the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable and the house was setup great for our family of four and two dogs. There isn’t a dishwasher but it wasn’t the end of the world to hand wash, when in Amish country ☺️. The fire pit was easy to use though during our stay it rained the entire time so we didn’t get to take advantage of the fire pit or hot tub like we had hoped. I also loved the big covered front porch where I enjoyed coffee in the mornings listening to the rain. The house is by a busy road that you can hear a little traffic inside the house but it didn’t bother us. You can also tell the owner take good care of the property from the state of the house to the beautiful landscaping outside. The town of Intercourse has so much to offer and is in walking distance of many attractions. There isn’t a sidewalk for the first block and the road can get busy so something to keep in mind if you have kids. There is also the Intercourse Community Park a couple minutes away that offers a great playground with a pond and path. Our family is already looking forward to return to the area for another visit in the future and if available our number one choice would be to book the house again for our stay.
