Weekend Sibling Gathering
Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The ease of accessing the property, the cleanliness, the location, everything was superb. The owners did not miss a thing! They had coffee, oils, salt and pepper, seasoning ketchup, mustard, everything that you would need. They even had wood available for the fire in the fire pit. I have not one negative thing to say about our stay. Thanks again and we will definitely look you up next time we come to Lancaster PA

Awesome Flower Patch Cottage
Very clean, well stocked, met all our expectations and then some. Loved the idea of no tv. Made for a very positive visit. Setting was beautiful, loved seeing the Amish and Mennonite traveling by horse and buggy. Nestled between farms on three sides was awesome. Would highly recommend! Plan on going back.

Perfect Location
This home was very clean, comfortable and a great location. It had everything we needed, full kitchen, large dining room and family room. We had four adults and there was plenty of room. Looking forward to going back in the warmer months to enjoy the outside, especially the fire pit.

Comfortable
Our family of 7 aged 60+ found this rental to be as pleasant as advertised and very comfortable. It was well provisioned and the area was beautiful. The addition of a TV would have been welcomed to keep abreast of the news but we were aware of there not being one so all was good. We enjoyed playing games, reading and watching the regular passings of horse and buggies. We would rent this unit again.

Overall, the property worked well for myself and three friends. No TV was a surprise so we watched our favorite football team on ipads (thank goodness for wifi), I stayed in a downstairs bedroom with a large bathroom but the gals upstairs said their shower was very small and the bathroom floor and rug were dirty. There is also alot of traffic on that highway although the clip clop of horses was so enjoyable! The countryside was just breathtaking and traveling the country roads so fun. A lovely property with plenty of room!

Our Stay
The property is very central to many attractions. We stayed with 2 other couples and we loved the size of the property. Having four bedrooms and three bathrooms is a huge plus. The host, Suzanne is just an email away for any questions. There are no televisions on the property, which i thought was a little odd, but soon came to realize that it was a time to unplug from tv viewing and enjoy quality time with friends, we did not miss it. Overall, a very charming place.

Annual girls get away
The place was very cute. We really enjoyed the outside fire pit area where you could listen to the horse and carriages go by. Great location. We were surprised there was no tv or dishwasher and the upstairs shower was very small.

"Friends Forever"
4 of us girlfriends have been friends for 36yrs since college days. We haven't seen each other in 21 yrs until we had the best wkend together @ The Flower Patch Cottage. Your home is just stunning, bright, extremely clean, cozy, and we had everything one would need. The waterfall shower was amazing. The beds were so comfortable everyone sleep great. We were so close to all the stores. We brought food to make a delicious Italian dinner on our 1st night there. We shopped at Kaufman's market nearby for fresh vegetables to make a delicious salad. The 4 of us girls sitting around the dining room table enjoying great food, wine , stories and old secrets was exactly what 4 best friends needed. We plan to make this a yearly adventure to The Patch Cottage. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!!

Friendships
Old and new friendships began within this comfortable home. Kitchen was roomy and had all the necessary equipment and was very functional. The living room comfortably sat 8 adults. I must say it was roomy and spacious with an outside area that we were able to utilize. There was a County wide ban on fires so we couldn't utilize the fire pit but we enjoyed sitting around it laughing and enjoying good conversation never-the-less. It was a convenient place to stay as it was so close to area attractions. Suzanne was very responsive to all of our communication. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect space for our family getaway!
Suzanne was helpful from the very beginning of booking this cute cottage with the fast responsive emails. Getting a house for my family with two babies under two is just easier these days than a hotel. The house is equipped with a pack and play, high chair that turns into a rocking horse which was super cute! Children's books and even some blocks and kid games! My parents stayed with me and we each had our own bathroom! The fireplace outside was so nice one night! The country and the ambience of the area and the attention to detail of the house and decor was perfect. It was close to lots of shops and farms to get fresh produce and baked goods! There is literally a stand across the street of yummy desserts on Saturdays! And then a farm stand right next door. The dinning room has a bay window where my 21 month old son would just look out everyday at the horse and buggies. It is 12 minutes from the Sight and Sound theater which puts on spectacular bible shows! Better than Broadway! The house also has some spices and olive oil which made cooking a bit easier and even tea, coffee, and detergent in case you needed to run a wash. My only suggestion would be to supply a good cutting board and a knife set. Thanks Suzanne! Can't wait to return! :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Flower Patch Cottage. I remember shopping here when the building in the back was a store. Fond memories of this property. We were close to many shops within walking distance from Kitchen Kettle. We enjoyed having our own bedroom with queen size beds. We also enjoyed the fire pit and conversation outdoors.

Girls Trip
This is one of the top two rentals that I have stayed in and I use short term rentals a lot. The house was immaculate, mattresses were comfortable and I really liked the bathroom towels. The location is convenient to everything. It would be nice to have a reflector at the driveway as it is difficult to find the driveway at night. You truly have a wonderful view of life in Amish country right out your window. Watching the carriages roll by and the work on the farm was educational and enjoyable. There is no TV if that is important to you, but we didn’t even notice that until we were leaving. I hope to rent this house again in the future.

The house was very close to fun shops and not far from sight and sound. There was a fire pit area to use but the fire wood was not seasoned and it took quite a bit to get it started. We had a fire one night but the back field had just been fertilized with liquid fertilizer and the smell drove us Indoors! It lasted a couple of days so we couldn’t use the fire pit. Other than that, the house was very clean and nice. Toiletries were mentioned but none of the bathrooms had soap for showering so bring your own. We didn’t cook any meals there so I can’t comment on the cookware available. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area.

This was the perfect location for our NY, MA, and VA family to get together for a long weekend. It was a spacious and charming property. It was walking distance to many cute shops and a short drive to Lancaster and other area attractions. We had such a great time!

Nice place but not what I expected
Good experience. Only problem was that entry and outdoor lights did not work and no instructions for thermostat. Also there are steps to get into property. Originally planned on bringing my mother with mobility issues along based on photo on site. They have made updates since photo taken and now there are steps. I'm glad she decided to stay home because we would have had problem with the steps in and also step down into living room. I enjoyed the home as did my sister but I really think they should update info to reflect updates

The house had good space and layout for 2 families, and was conveniently located for amish activities. Those who slept in the bedrooms towards the street heard cars driving all night, so you may want to consider that when arranging rooms.

This was the perfect place for our group that ranged in age from 3 to 73. The house is beautiful and well stocked. The ground floor bedroom with wall in shower was perfect for my 73 year old mother. My 3 year old son found the bins of toys, books and games within minutes. Great location, beautiful views. We will definitely stay here again!

Lots of family fun
We were 2 families of 4 with teenagers and 10-12 year olds. The house was perfect for us! Great space, large rooms, and everyone enjoyed watching the many buggies passing by all day long! There’s no TV and we didn’t even miss it. Location is great, we walked into town for some treats and felt close by to everything we needed. Highly recommended, thank you for an amazingly comfortable property!

A blessed stay
This beautiful house has everything we need and more. It's super clean and well kept. We love the decor in every room and especially love the dining area and the living room... the views from the windows and the natural lights shining through the windows are just tranquilizing and make you want today. My whole family ended up spent most of our time in the house each day~ Suzanne is very nice and helpful. We forgot one of our luggages after we checked out. She responded to our message quickly and helped locate it to be picked up immediately. The only thing we regretted was that we didn't book for longer! Our family enjoys Lancaster county a lot and has been visiting this area annually. This beautiful house is our newfound gem and we'll definitely come back.

Perfect location for visiting Amish country
We were a group of four college friends in our 50's and this property was perfect for our group. We each had our own room . We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the shade and we enjoyed playing games at the dining room table and watching the Amish families go by in their horse and buggies.

We stayed here with 3 couples and 3 infants and it was perfect for our needs. It was clean, had many bathrooms and well located. The views were very nice and we saw lots of animals from our window. The only con was that there was no dishwasher. There was also no tv but that wasn’t an issue for us. It was baby friendly and even had a pack and play, high chair and some toys. Overall, a lovely home and a good choice if you want to stay in this area.

PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX
After months of isolation, due to Covid, this was a perfect location for a "senior" couples getaway. The property is clean and welcoming, with plenty of comfortable seating for the six of us. Located within a short drive to many experiences, it is also a quiet retreat to simply view the farmland and buggies.
