Adorable cabin
The cabin was absolutely adorable and better than expected! Boat dock was perfect for our boat and for swimming off of. Owner is a very nice lady who communicates well. Would definitely stay again.

Glad we made it back.
I love this little cabin on the lake. One thing I do have to comment on, is that the boat ramps for the lake do not work so well with the lake at 50% full, but PK is not a bad fall back lake and it is super close. This was my second stay at this cabin.

Cozy, Family friendly, Great Lake location
We had the best weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and cozy, with a great porch facing the lake. Very nice spot on the lake where we caught really nice fish, and swim with our 6 year old twins right off of the dock. Our host and her granddaughter helped make our daughter’s weekend wonderful! Definitely a lake rental worth booking.

Great hidden getaway
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We even caught a good thunderstorm and the front porch and porch swings were awesome to sit and watch it go by. Very peaceful.

Perfect getaway
Cabin was cute, cozy, clean - the beds were super comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped. The back porch with rocker and swings was wonderful. Last but no least, it was right on the lakefront. We dropped our kayak in, and fished from the dock. Good fishing!

Great getaway
The cabin exceeded my expectations. Wonderful place we even met the neighbor who was very kind. We fished, they were biting in the evening and threw back. The ambiance was fabulous especially the way the owner decorated the interior. This is an EXCEPTIONAL relaxation getaway.

Great getaway!
Our family of five enjoyed our weekend stay here. It was so nice to get away from the distractions of everyday busy city life. We brought our fishing rods and floats and fished and swam right off the dock and caught many catfish, crappie, and bass. The cabin is very nice and clean and offers all you need for cooking, cleaning, and showering. We brought a big cooler with groceries so, that’s the only recommendation I’d have for anyone thinking about staying here. There are limited stores available and the nearest Walmart is 15 miles away. It was such a relaxing trip and we look forward to staying again. Thanks for accommodating our family!

Great area
We loved the area. Quiet waterfront log cabin. Nice porch and yard. Great boat dock for fishing and easy access to launch kayaks. Very nice bathroom downstairs, none upstairs but that worked just fine for us.

Very clean, well equipped, comfortable and cozy.
Loved the Z cabin. Plenty of room for all of us. Outdoor area was great. Weather little chilly to do all we wanted to outdoors. Youngest did catch a fish from the great dock. We loved the fire pit. They supplied all the firewood and was close by. Cooked hotdogs and s'mores. There were several games inside we played. Was short trip with grandkids and we would all like to visit again later in the spring. We really enjoyed Z cabin.

Great lake property

Quiet restful stay
Very nice little cabin. Was very quiet around the lake. Enjoyed sitting and fishing off the dock. The only negative really were the roads around the lake. Kind of rough and broken up in places, but overall would recommend staying here.

I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. I share your concern about the road. The road (Lakeview Dr) is county maintained; the 2 miles from FM4 can be bumpy at times.

Charming Cabin
Z's cabin on Lake Palo Pinto is so charming and comfortable. Our time spent there was enjoyed by our family. Boating at the dock was a plus for us being able to walk out and enjoy wakeboarding and tubing with family at beautiful Lake Palo Pinto.

Our experience was exactly what we were hoping for! It was quiet, cozy, and delightful! My children enjoyed the dock for fishing and swimming. We cooked hot dogs and s’mores. The getaway from the hustle of daily life was just what we needed.

Lake front quiet and beauty
Z Cabin was such an awesome surprise, a very cozy and comfortable living space. A personal favorite is the big lake side porch, and we both loved all the amazing homey touches Virginia has filling the place with, inside and outside. A very loving decor. Our dogs were totally chilled out with rustic pleasure as well. The objective was the wife's birthday and a quiet relaxed space: mission accomplished, plus the very hominess was a huge bonus. Many blankets, and useful utilitarian goodies. Definitely have to do this again!

Our family had an amazing weekend at Z Cabin! We are a fishing and cooking family, and this cabin hit the spot for everyone! The pictures do not do the cabin justice - so cute! Also well stocked. The scenery was beautiful, quiet and so relaxing. Can’t wait to visit again.

A great get away for cool weather.
Had a great time fishing on the dock was very safe for seniors, I just think the water is to cold for fish to bite yet. Hope to return when the weather is warmer.

Relaxing Thanksgiving Stay
House was exactly as the description and photos indicated. Cozy, comfortable cabin with a great back porch facing the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the porch swings and fishing from the dock. Really nice barbecue grill where we prepared two meals. Large living room TV where we enjoyed movies and football games. Owner was great at responding to our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time at the Z Cabin. The cabin was very nice, just as advertised. Very peaceful. We had a great weekend and didn’t get many “zzz’s” with two kids under five, but they had a great time!

peaceful and comfortable get=a=way
Lovely location, great fishing dock and back yard . two swinging porch seats with great views. Quiet neighborhood . The cabin was very clean and well stocked. the beds were so comfortable.. A large screen television, excellent for football. It was a roomy cabin and decor pleasing to the eye. I enjoyed a hot bubble bath at bedtime. The owner was very nice and accomadating everything was there we needed for a quiet time away from our noisy town. We will be back, I'm already looking forward to it.

Great getaway close to the metroplex.
Great getaway for a quiet weekend. This lake is surrounded by trees and hills. The house is close to the water and there is deep water off the boat dock. We caught several large catfish and carp.

Enjoyable Get Away
My Husband and I had a great time at this cabin on the lake. He spent the time fishing and I sat on the porch swing and enjoyed the view of the lake and the surrounding hills. The cabin was comfy and gave us a nice home away from home. We definitely would like to come back for another visit!

It was a great place to stay until the owner (who lives next door) pretty much ran my parents off. They brought there dog to visit us (only stayed 10 minutes) because she came over to tell us that we didn't tell her we were bringing a dog and if we don't clean up after her she was going to charge a fee. So inappropriate at that time. Made my dad mad and they left. That was the only bad thing about the house, being Micro watched from the owner next door.

The rules with regard to this property are listed in the rental agreement and are listed within the VRBO reservation. Had you spoke with me ahead of time about your parents visit and that they were bringing a dog, I’m sure something could have been worked out. Because the problem was quickly addressed by you, no additional fees were accessed and you received a full refund of your security deposit. Sorry you felt this was not an appropriate response to the problem.

We had a wonderful time. If you love fishing this is the place steps away from the water. It is a quiet peaceful view. Just sit on the swing and relax or enjoy the great firepit. We can't wait to come back.
