"EXCELLENT!! I can say enough good things about this hotel. Spotlessly clean and everyone that worked there were amazing! The apt was cleaned every day and that included mopping the entire apt. They were incredibly accomodating when we needed early breaksfast. the hospitality was top notch. The only thing I would suggest is to leave a squeegie in each bathroom as it would help with the water on the floor from the shower. Highly recommend! Such lovely people and a beautiful place."

The area is surrounded by charming, local restaurants that are close enough to visit easily but don’t disrupt the peaceful vibe.It’s also a great base for exploring the island, with easy access to hiking trails, historical sites, and everything Crete has to offer. We had an amazing time and can’t recommend it enough!"

"Aeolos Apartments is a great place to stay in Kolumbary. The hosts are polite, supportive, and welcoming, and my apartment was lovely – overlooking the coastline and catching a great breeze thanks to its elevation. My only concern was the shower: a tiny ~90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft) square tucked in the corner of the bathroom, just a curtain, and a handheld showerhead you have to hold the whole time. It made showering genuinely frustrating and not very pleasant. Lesson learned – I'll pay closer attention to bathroom photos before booking in Kolumbary next time."
