"This has become a tradition for us to stay at the fun place when we are in Hamilton area. The staff is helpful and the property is unique. The best part of course is the animals. I love the petting zoo. Easy parking, comfortable accommodations (best was a little too soft for my taste though). Nice little fire pit area outside the cabin and some other fun activates. If you are in the area, it is work checking out."

"Our family had the time of our lives at Artemis Ranch. It honestly feels like the closest you can get to being on safari without leaving the U.S. The peaceful quiet of the ranch combined with the incredible variety of animals made for a magical stay. Watching the wildlife roam was fascinating, but the highlight for us was getting to feed Tank the rhino – a once-in-a-lifetime experience!Chef Kortney’s meals were absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared with such care that dining itself became a highlight of the trip. Adriaan’s tours around the ranch and animal excursions were equally unforgettable – his knowledge and passion for the wildlife added so much depth to our experience.Artemis Ranch is the perfect blend of adventure, peace, and hospitality. If you love wildlife and are looking for a truly unique and serene getaway, this is a must-stay. We can’t wait to return!"

"Our stay was great. As it turned out we were upgraded to a larger unit because our original was still occupied. It was great, but one issue was the master bedroom had steps up to the bathroom. My husband is disabled and that was an issue. "

"The cabin is set back in a large stand of mature Live Oaks and Cedar Elms which provide lots of shade and the patio is huge, great for meals and hanging out. The cabin is incredibly clean, well decorated (rustic), very cozy, relaxing and well stocked with most everything you might need. The well water is delicious and clean! We really enjoyed the goats visiting us in the morning and evening. They are very respectful and Mayor Ringo is affectionate like a dog, he loves to be petted! Beth gave us a tour of their family's Century Ranch while sharing it's rich Texas history. I love Texas so her stories gave me goose bumps! Beth and Tom are amazing stewards of their property and love to share it with their guests if you like.We will be going back!P.S. The drive to Colorado Bend SP via US 580 is a gorgeous 30 minute drive with lots of elevation change and twisting roads! Amazing views!"
