We were not told up front about the $75 pet fee During the night the scooter traffic with drug deals was endless . People coming and going out of the hotel at 2:30 am Not a great neighborhood.

We came to Goldsboro to visit our son and his family at SJAFB, stayed in TLF on base for the close proximity. Needed an extra night and booked the Hampton, which is where we stayed on a previous visit. What a difference! Our room was spacious, bright, welcoming and clean. Two comfortable queen beds, plenty of (counter) space to drop your belongings! The breakfast was great with plenty of hot and cold options including waffles, eggs and sausage (maplewood smoked, yum!), yogurt and baked goods. I appreciated the the juice options! The dining room is beautiful, love the color! The chairs were comfortable to sit in and have an extra cup of coffee. The staff was amazing at both check-in and check-out. To top it off: The Hampton was nearly $20 cheaper than the dingy room on base with only a double bed!! Next time we come to visit Goldsboro we will stay at The Hampton for all the comfort and amenities! It's only a 6 minute drive to the base. Very Nice Place to Stay!!

The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. The curtain in our room did not close all the way and the door had issues closing (429). But the friendly customer service outweighed all the deficiencies.

Room was dirty, door was broken and would not close properly, bathroom sliding door would not stay closed, there were bugs in the room. We dis not get housekeeping not even ine time. Ran out of toilet paper, towels and tissues. Amenities like coffee were cold as ice. Had to get coffee and reheat it all the time

The property is very well maintained and very clean. I was very happy with 95% of the service. Princess at the front desk could not have been more accommodating abd pleasant, we enjoyed her service very much. Tia on the other hand needs training in how to communicate nicely. We arrived back at 8pm and wanted to eat our dinner with our family in the lobby. Tia stated the lobby closes at 8. No one else was there so my husband ask to turn football on and Tia stated we could not do that. However, the previoys two nights the lobby was open passed and very crowded on Friday night and Thursday no one was there and Princess was happy to put gootball on the TV for us and jeep the lights on in the lobby. Closing a lobby at 8pm is ridiculous.

The stay was comfortable. Outside was not pleasant as there were huge roach looking bugs on the side walks and in the parking lot. My 4 year old was terrified. I did not like them either.
