Low key and modest, Golden is a real quiet achiever when it comes to adventure.
Golden is right on the doorstep of some of Canada’s most impressive national parks. This means that year round there are opportunities for an active holiday in the outdoors. Every season transforms the landscape and brings with it a whole new set of activities and delight. If you’re a bit of an adventurer you will feel right at home, as you can use the town as a base to try ice climbing, heli-skiing and sledding. Golden is a true escape into nature.
