"This hotel was by far the best we stayed at in Iceland. The breakfast was out of the world amazing ! The staff even made me decaffinated latte each morning as I cannot drink regular caffeine coffee. The food selection was totally amazing, delicious and fresh, frankly many days it was the best meal of the day (hot dogs and hamburgers are standard fare in Iceland). The location was amazing, right in the middle of everything. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and perfect. I cannot say anything that could be improved, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience."

"This location turned out to be good although we had our doubts from the map. It is a relatively new hotel, the rooms are clean and a great size, the staff is great. We really enjoyed the breakfast, although they did not offer any options with decaffinated coffee (interesting because the barrista made all kinds of other coffees.) In any event we really enjoyed our stay there..."

"Our stay was very comfortable and the rooms were clean and large with sizable bathrooms. The staff was very helpful and gracious. The location is great, within close walking distance to the downtown, Concert Hall, and Old Harbour. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of offerings, including gluten-free options. This seems to be the case in Iceland that hair conditioner is not usually stocked in bathrooms. But when we returned after our 4-day tour, we were automatically upgraded for a repeat stay to a better room and package that included a balcony and hair conditioner. We very much appreciated the upgrade since we saw Northern Lights for the first time by stepping onto our balcony without having to leave the hotel, One complaint common to most bathrooms in Europe: the ledge for the shower is very shallow and the water always seems to end up flowing onto the floor outside the shower. We found this a nuisance and perhaps could use some advice to avoid it."
