The views of the mountains and river from both inside and outside the cabin are breathtaking. This cabin i home away from home, complete with a living, dining, bathroom, and kitchen in addition to the sleeping spaces. This is the perfect getaway retreat for a couple or family.

Cute with great views

The house is comfortable and clean. The hot tub was heated and we would have enjoyed it longer except for a gale wind that picked up the cover and blew it right over our heads and over the deck railing! Amazingly, even with strong winds all night, the little rubber ducky was still in the hot tub in the morning! We would rent it again in nicer weather! The way Vrbo does the messages between the owner and renter leaves much to be desired. Very inefficient and frustrating at times.

The views were lovely, but the property itself felt quite dated and in need of updating. Our biggest concern was the upstairs loft area where the children were expected to sleep. The balcony railing was only around 12 inches high, making it feel unsafe for young children. Although the listing says children are welcome, there was no way we felt comfortable letting our toddler sleep there. Instead, the children had to sleep in the downstairs bedroom while the adults used the single beds upstairs. The loft also has a very low ceiling, so most adults can't stand upright, making it less practical than the listing suggests.

The 'Tiny Home' feel was really fun and cozy, the spaces well thought out, and the large deck with the hot tub overlooking the valley and river were super enjoyable. It worked great for our family of four, with both kids sleeping in the loft upstairs. We would definitely come back for longer stays to explore the southern Oregon coast some more. The only notable downside was that the main bedroom mattress really sucked (cabin #49): it's super slouchy and I would give the place perfect scores if the mattress was replaced to actually provide any back support at all. Everything else was absolutely wonderful!
