"I found this place to celebrate my birthday, and it has been the best experience, a wonderful river view. The cabin is perfect for couples, the jacuzzi works great and the fireplace is a spectacular complement. You can easily find wood for the campfire. We're definitely going back to that same cabin. "

"Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. "This was overpriced for what was offered. Beds were horrible, so uncomfortable. Staff was ok but not the most helpful. No amenities, no pool, no breakfast, etc but the price was ridiculous. I left a book there by mistake and when called to see if they could send there, they were going to charge me to send. With the amount we payed I would think the would be more accommodating. "
