Typical and delightful
This hotel is s long way from the center of Gottingen, although it is on a regular bus line. It is a lovely quiet inn- good breakfast, no air conditioning, small but neat rooms. Perfect for hikers or family visiting, and great value for the money.

Close to North campus of University of Gottingen
I arrived at the hotel at lunchtime on a cold day in February. No problems checking in although my room was a little cold and took a while to heat up. Bed comfortable and breakfast was great. The younger staff speak English. I was able to walk to the North campus of University of Gottingen in 20 minutes, which suited me, and was the reason I chose the hotel. I stayed at the hotel for a week. Most evenings I caught a bus into the centre of Gottingen for my evening meal. The buses leave every 15 mins from just outside the hotel. One evening when it was snowing heavily and I had a meal at a restaurant next to the hotel. It was fine. Hotel Beckmann is a traditional economical family run hotel. Don't expect 5 star luxury.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, gutes Frühstück sehr nettes Personal. Man hat für mich im Restaurant angerufen um mir einen Tisch zu reservieren und mich dann informiert !

Tolle Umgebung in Gö-Nikolausberg. Rezeption "nur" bis 23:00 besetzt, das war etwas hinderlich beim checkin. Dennoch sehr freundlich und hilfreich bei Fragen und Sonderwünschen Zimmer gut ausgestattet, Betten tolle Matratzen, toller Blick auf Kirche

Bra hotell med möjlighet för två elbilar att ladda mot betalning. Fräscht hotell med ljus inredning. God frukost. Trevligt välkomnande. Vi uppskattade möjligheten att kunna använda takterassen på kvällen och hade vackert läge med fin utsikt. Hotellet har en närliggande restaurang som verkar populär. Vi valde ett familjerum där våra två barn sov i varsin bäddfotölj som tyvärr inte var så sköna. Nästa gång bokar vi nog två dubbelrum istället. Annars var allt toppen!

Supert familiehotell! Stort familierom som er i den nye delen. Helt fantastisk service. Restauranten var stengt da vi kom, men personalet bestilte pizza og lot oss spise i frokostsalen. Svært god service for små barn - de fikk leker delt ut til frokost så vi voksne fikk spist ferdig. Kan anbefales!

Super séjour dans ce petit hôtel familial. Équipement pour recharge des voitures électriques au top. Le restaurant kuckuck est excellent. Le petit déjeuner est succulent. Nous avons passé un très bon moment!!!
