"The elevator does not work, so I had to schlepp 40 pounds of luggage up six flights of stairs. The check-in is a little bizarre: you get an e-mail telling you your room number and a code for a lock box. Because I was travelling all day, I did not see the e-mail, so when I checked in the building was open, but no one was there. I went out on the street to ask folks for help, but it is a small rural town in Poland, so most did not speak English. Fortunately, I found a lady who did, who then called a friend, who called receptionist, who was away from her desk picking up her children from school.
