Location was great and quiet area to stay.

Location, location, location! Perfect location, close to everything, very clean, breakfast was delicious, coffee downstairs just perfect! I highly recommend this place.

I gave the staff a 4 star rating as the website says they can organise day trips to the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial and the Wieliczka Salt Mine. On booking our accommodation nearly a year ago we emailed for assistance with these bookings and they said they could not do it!...even though the website says they can. On registering to the accommodation their brochures say they can do these bookings!!...yet they couldn't help us with nearly a year's notice! But in saying that we did enjoy staying at this accommodation. It was boutique in style which we do like. It was in the old town area - an area we liked being in.

The location was everything that you need for a visit to krakow. The room was spacious. Bed comfortable and I especially enjoyed the high ceilings in the room and the very large bathroom. Front desk was very pleasant and check in was easy. The location was a block from the castle and a short walk from The square. Highly recommend this hotel. Great breakfast place on the corner. Loved this hotel

Our clean, spacious family room was the highlight of our Krakow trip. It was equipped with an amazing air conditioning unit that allowed us to happily head back to the hotel after being out exploring during Europe’s summer heatwave. Hotel receptionists were always helpful and courteous. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was the typical EU breakfast with ham, scrambled eggs, cheese slices, fresh bread-mini croissants, vegetable slices, tzatziki sauce, and an excellent assortment of fresh fruits. This hotel is within walking distance to the lively old town square. Lots of tourists and locals dancing, hanging out in the square but we never heard anything from our room. I will say, our room was located closer to the back with no real view so that may be why we didn’t hear all the partying going on around the hotel. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Jan. If you are ever in Krakow and want to be within steps of the old town and looking for a hotel with amenities such as air conditioning, this is your place.
