Comfort Inn Danvers - Boston North Shore

"Very clean. I love the coffee spot because we arrive exausted and that was an extra. The breakfast was AWESOME!! Better than expected. And thanks to Leandro, the assistant manager, who was Very Nice and make us feel welcomed. Definitely I return!!"

"If you want to stay in the heart of the attractions, this is the place to be. Room was very clean. However, one thing to keep in mind if you stay at this hotel, is that there is basically no amenities. They do have a filtered water system that is located on each floor which was good to fill water bottles before heading out. They do have a restaurant on the roof but we chose to eat at local establishments. There is no onsite parking but there is parking close enough at the train station ($5.00 per day as of time of this review) that you can walk to the hotel in like five minutes. There is another one closer but was a little more expensive at $1.50 per peak hours. We chose the train station since we did not need the car during our three day stay. The hotel is very close to most places that you are coming to Salem for. If I visit Salem again, I would definitely try to book at The Salem Hotel. One thing to keep in mind is that if you go during peak season, the price will be very high, assuming there is room availability."

"Overall our stay was good. Property is a bit hard to find, hidden down behind other businesses and lots. Our room could definitely have been cleaner. There was hair on the toilet and in the shower drain. The handle in the shower is broken so when rotated towards the hot water, it falls all the way to the hottest setting. I had to rig it with a washcloth so as to not get too hot. Walls are a bit thin so easy to hear other guests. Continental Breakfast was good and as expected except there were no tea bags. Only coffee. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Overall was a decent stay but could’ve been cleaner with amenities that aren’t broken."
