Interior of property were as photos showed. Not mentioned in description, basement apartment, down steps from main Street. Bed very comfortable. Good kitchen set up. Would like to suggest a non stick frying pan and egg flip. Couch needs replacing, very saggy.

Liked: Communication
The communication from the host was fantastic. We didnt initially receive our check in details, but Freya responded straight away when we contacted her and remained helpful and communicative throughout our stay. The listing mentions parking on site, however this is street parking and is time restricted unless you have a permit. Freya kindly purchased a parking pass for us as a gesture after the check in issue, which we appreciated. We weren’t able to park directly outside the apartment itself, so there was a short walk to the accommodation. The accommodation was clean, tidy, and appeared recently renovated. However, there was quite a noticeable damp/musty smell during our stay. The layout also wasn’t to our personal preference, with the bedroom in the entrance room with the front door and the bathroom at the opposite end of the apartment through the kitchen/living area. On a positive note, the location is within walking distance of the quays, which was convenient. I dont think we would personally stay again, but that comes down more to our own preferences at this price point. We have stayed in luxury serviced apartments in central Cheltenham for the same nightly rate, which suited us better. That said, this property may work well for guests visiting for work or short events who want easy access to the area.
