"Much to our horror, this hotel was 50kms from Groningen where we were to stay 3 days. The taxi cost us $320 AU. We thought it was in a suburb of Groningen. The owner was lovely and helped us find another hotel in Groningen for 2 days as we wanted to visit art galleries. It is in a lovely town but not what we wanted. Wonā€™t be using Wotif again."

The room was very big and clean and comfortable, there was some noise in the morning as it was partly under the stairs and we could hear people going up to breakfast, but it was very quiet all night. "Room was a reasonable size, but as others have said, the bathroom is small, so could be difficult for a larger person. Our air-conditioner was playing up a bit, the Reception had someone look at it and it worked OK after that. Only paid for breakfast one day. It was OK, but the only hot options were scrambled egg and bacon. Overall a pleasant stay in a lovely town, being an ideal base to go to the Assen MotoGP."
