The home itself was absolutely perfect: comfortable, beautifully maintained, and provided the ideal cozy backdrop for us to reconnect and make wonderful memories. It truly felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed the games provided by our host.However, during our visit, we received devastating news: the sudden and unexpected death of my younger brother. As you can imagine, our focus immediately shifted to managing travel, grief, and the logistics of this tragedy. In the rush and overwhelming sadness, we completely forgot to run the dishwasher before we checked out.We were mortified when we realized our oversight, but the hosts' response was deeply compassionate. They showed incredible grace, immediately prioritizing our family's well-being over the minor inconvenience of the missed chore.We found this understanding and compassion to be exceptional. It confirmed that we weren't just renting a property, but staying in a home managed by truly wonderful, empathetic people. "Kris was communicative and answered my messages quickly. While near the main road and in walking distance to downtown Hudson Falls, it was quiet. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would stay again if in the area. "

"We spent 6 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The apt is older but was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved having a large living room and dining room to spend time with family. The host was great with communication. Location was perfect- walking distance to downtown and short drive to Lake George. We will definitely stay here again. "
