The views at this property are spectacular. The access to the beach was a half a block away. We enjoyed the views from the hot tub. However, this property will be even nicer when the owner replaces the terribly stained carpeting on the stairs, in the hallway and in the primary ocean side suite.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time at the house. Great views. Comfortable. Good wifi and TV access. Nice and clean. Had great coffee and scones at the Red Roof cafe up the street. Only unfortunate part was no glass floats found during our walks on the beach in Lincoln City.

Mother’s Day weekend

A great location for this mom with 3 grown daughters to celebrate all being moms. House was comfortable and views amazing. We even saw the Northern Lights!

Wonderful get away

This was a wonderful family getaway, property and stay. We enjoyed every minute. Loved the beach and even got to see a whale from the deck overlooking the ocean. Couldn't have asked for more. Will be back one day!

Spacious, right on the beach

The house is huge. It would be great for lage family or a group of friends. It is on the beach. There is only about a 25' retaining rock wall between the surf and thehouse. Two lots down is a walk on access to the beach. The bestpart of the house is the upstairs jacuzzi tub witha sweeping view. Oregon beach house

the house was amazing and the view was spectacular. The carpets had stains throughout the house and had stains on the couches upstairs as well which was very concerning since I didn't know what the stains were. everything else was amazing but i would suggest getting the jets upgraded a little more in the hot tub.

Wonderful beach house

I stayed with a group of my coworkers for a work trip. The house was clean and the windows to the ocean view were magical. Beds were comfy and the kitchen supported our cooking needs. Having a hot tub view of the ocean was an added special bonus. My coworker left their wallet behind and we didn’t have time to turn around. We let the hosts know and they found it and mailed it back. This made a very stressful situation easeful. I would recommend this location to my friends and family.

Realistic expectations, worth every penny!

We read the reviews, they weren’t fantastic…we reached out to the property manager to ask if the posting and pics were a true representation of the house, they assured us there has been some changes, especially in cleanliness. We’re realistic, we didn’t expect any changes. But we knew it was going to rain all weekend and wanted a great spot to stay in and enjoy a weekend at the beach. We brought our own supplies, blankets, pillows, dishes, pots and pans, etc. the price of the property is absolutely fair for what you get, we found it was worth every penny. If you look through all the reviews, they are accurate but again, level set your expectations, this house with the amazing bones and unbeatable location, could charge at least a hundred if not 2-3 hundred more a night if a few updates were made but we were happy not to spend an arm and a leg for a nice relaxing weekend at the beach! Level set your expectations and enjoy this property with one of the best locations on the coast!!!

Front row seat to the ocean

Gathering place for four sisters, ages 66-80. Directly on the beach with spectacular views from deck and master suite. Beach access 2 doors down, though not easy enough for our two oldest guests. Comfortable beds and furniture. No safety rails in either shower. Strong bones, but needs updated. Well equipped kitchen, and quick response when we found there was no toaster. Beach was unlike other Lincoln City/Newport beaches as surf moves in and out very quickly, with steep sand and wouldn't seem fitting for children. Bedding was clean, but mattresses were not.

Great location for families who love the beach

Overall happy and the house is comfortable and flows well. Location cannot be beat….great views and access to beach. However there are housekeeping issues for sure. Carpets are filthy. Shower grout needs help. Discovered blood stains on sheets in master and I’m not sure the bedding had even been changed. When trundle bed was pulled out for my youngest granddaughter we found popcorn on the sheets. Clearly that bedding had not been changed so her mother changed it. Window screen is missing in master bedroom. There was only a small salt and pepper set from the grocery store in the kitchen and two rolls of paper towels; in most places we’ve rented there are at least things like foil, ziploc bags or plastic wrap, and maybe a few other things in the cupboards that folks might need and would not think they had to bring with them. And it’s a beach house….I expected a couple of beach towels for guest use in a house which purports to have everything you need for your beach stay. Garbage can outside should be emptied between guests; ours was full upon our arrival. However, we had a great time and these are all things which can and should be addressed. Knowing what we know, we would go back and just be prepared with more supplies. And hope that our beds had clean sheets on them!!

Needs work

We liked the layout of the house and the location. Great view and location, but the house is in serious need of some long-overdue maintenance. That includes: * The gas fireplace does not work. They sent a maintenance guy out but he did not have access to the owner locked garage. The garage is where the maintenance guy needed access to the circuit breakers. Not having access to the garage is not a deal killer, but it would be nice to have access to the garage. * The BBQ is undersized and corroded. One of the three burner elements does not work at all. * The hot tub is missing the cover holder. It's just gone. That makes removing the cover a multi-person task and as a result, the hot tub is not really usable. * There was only one lamp in the living room. At least one of the electrical outlets in the living room did not work. Maybe related to the gas fireplace issue. * The carpet upstairs and on the stairs is probably gone beyond cleaning. It needs to be replaced. * Black mode in the grout of the main bedroom bathroom. Needs to be steam cleaned. I would not stay here again until the above has been addressed.

The view is spectacular! Lots of room for 4 adults. A few things to be upgraded, like stained carpet on stairs and in hallway, but overall an amazing place to stay.
