Great Stay For the Family Visit to Dino State Park

We enjoyed the river house with all of its amenities! It is located close to everything but is very private. The property is very well kept and is on the river.The house has a lot of amenities that were above the other properties I have rented. I would give it the highest rating.

Quite place on the river

The property is secluded just on the edge of town. Lots of room to roam and close to everything in town. Just minutes from Fossil Rim Wildlife, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Creation Museum, and Dinosaur World. Nice deck down on the river. It's a great gathering spot.

Comfortable large house, responsive hosts!

We lucked out in finding this home available for the 2024 total eclipse. It definitely has space to accommodate more than our family of four but/and was extremely comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Two full nice bathrooms. Three really comfy beds. Pool table enjoyed by all. And the hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. We could only stay a couple days (I regret not more), but should we come back to Glen Rose this will be the first place we check.

Inside of the house was nice but the property was terrible

The grass needed to be mowed & this not being taken care of made the stickers in the grass to get all over your clothes trying to get down to the water. The air conditioner froze up due to air filters needing to be changed. They did have this up & working within a few hours. We did enjoy the house & the outside property does need a lot of attention.Patrick was very nice to talk with & he did get things taken care of.

Glen Rose is a sweet town with so many dinosaur themed things to do. We loved it and our grandkids had the best time. This house was conveniently located and had fun features for all of us. The host was very kind in working with us.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this property in Glen Rose! It had everything we could have wanted and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials we needed for our stay. We’re already planning our next visit!

The house was even more charming in person. My kids loved the second living room and slept on that comfy couch every night. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. Although we only live 30 minutes away, we enjoyed being away from home and out in nature.

Perfect house for Golf Tournament

Patrick was a great host! We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back next year. The house was very comfortable. Best grill we experienced in a rental. Sound system for big screen TV was great. The pool table was an added benefit. Thoughtful storage for your clothes and luggage.

Girls Weekend

This property was ideal for our girls outing. There were multiple spacious areas for gathering together. The kitchen was well stocked with up to date appliances and the house was nicely furnished with nice large televisions in the bed rooms and living areas, unfortunately we had difficulty figuring out all the remotes. The house is on a large plot of land right on the river with a nice deck by the river. Unfortunately the view is not as awesome as it could be secondary to a area of "junk" between the house and the deck. ( It looks like they tore down a building resulting in piles of granite, cement etc.) We had difficulty working the grill and the host responding quickly to our questions, unfortunately we never did get it working correctly. The location is great and we were able to enjoy Glen Rose and Granberry easily.

State Golf Tournament

This was our second year to stay in this home. The owner was very responsive and helpful! Very comfortable beds! We were grateful to pay the pet deposit and bring our schnauzer this year! Will definitely stay again if ever in Glen Rose.

Great location to dinosaur attractions and Fossil Rim!

The property was lovely and in a great spot to get to the dinosaur attractions and Fossil Rim quickly. I could have missed the listing about the open basement and the deck having building items (rocks, A/C units, etc) in front of it. If so, that’s on me, however, I was quite surprised. Overall, the house was as listed and very clean.

Came out to Glen Rose for a girls getaway weekend and this house was perfect! The home provides everything you could possibly need and it exuded a warm, cozy, and relaxing environment that we were all looking for. We spent a lot of our time sitting on the back porch looking out and playing pool in the entertainment room. We will absolutely be coming back for our mini-vacations. The owner is very responsive and provided recommendations of things to do/restaurants to go in the area. Very, VERY happy with our experience.
