"Easy pleasant 1 hour drive from Auckland.The Tuakau Bridge, river view is beautiful, take care as it is narrow.It is like stepping back in time to the 60's, lovely rural setting.Such a cute Bach right on beach with spectacular sea views. "Beware, water pressure was very poor and temperature was lukewarm. It made a difference for 3 adults trying to shower at 5.30am. There is no insulation and the railway is nearby. It felt like we were sleeping in a tent next to the train tracks, so not good for light sleepers. Comi g fro. Someone who lives next to an airport.
