  • Welcome to the Midway Chalet! Our charming getaway is located next to Storyland and minutes away from Attitash, Cranmore, and Wildcat. Downtown North Conway is 15 minutes away for great shopping, restaurants, and mountain activities. If hiking is your passion we are perfectly located near Mt. Washington and many trail heads. Lots of great restaurants nearby, and Jackson Village is just a couple miles down the road. Our newly installed heatpumps ensure you are warm in the winter and have air conditioning throughout the entire space when it is hot. What a difference with no noisy window units!

    Our space is well appointed with everything you need to relax and enjoy the White Mountains, any time of the year. Come visit!

We had a wonderful stay here! We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. We also loved the location. Near Storyland and a few minutes to shopping etc. There is a Pizza/Beer/Store within walking distance which was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location for a hiking weekend

We stayed at the chalet for two nights with four adult guests to do some hiking in the area and ring in the new year. The unit was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location to access trails in the area. We enjoyed the open layout of the common areas for relaxing evenings together. I would stay again!

Stayed for a couple of nights to access Wildcat and Attitash. Perfect location. Chalet was outfitted with all the essentials - there was even to sauce and maple syrup for our pre-ski breakfasts! Thanks for a great stay.

Great home base for a New Hampshire adventure

Really appreciated the great location of the chalet and the helpful recommendations. Location made our summer adventures easy to facilitate - have to imagine it's even better for winter skiers. Sheryl was helpful, quick and considerate when we reached out for help/advice before and during our stay. Would return again - we fell in love with New Hampshire!

The perfect mountain get away

The place was clean and well cared for! Perfect space for my two kids, my mom and my husband and I. 2 mins from Storyland was more than convenient and just a short drive downtown. There is a grocery store just down the street. Sheryl has excellent communication and the chalet had everything we needed to cook and the beds were super comfy! Highly recommend this rental!

Storyland family vacation

This property was clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 4. We loved the open concept living area, and the beautiful view through the large sliding glass doors. The location was great, near so many attractions like Storyland, Diana’s bath, North Conway and many restaurants. Sheryl was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely com back!

Older and showing it

This was a mixed bag. The unit is 2 levels which wasn't mentioned on the listing. You walk in on a level that has the bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry room. Every thing else is up a full flight of stairs. The bedroom level had a musty smell to it. Even though the bathroom had new flooring and toilet, it looked dingy and old with cobwebs in the corners and baseboards that looked like they havent been cleaned in quite some time. The upstairs smelled better and was overall cleaner, but there were still spiders in the kitchen. Surfaces were clean, but the whole thing could benefit from a deep clean. There is a lot of noise from the road which makes the balcony unpleasant for use. The heating/cooling was hard to figure out, but the owner was quick to respond with assistance. The location is convenient to restaurants, grocery store, hiking. Im sorry to say that for me, the bad outweighed the good and i will not be returning.
