Clean cabin with a great view

The cabin was clean, has modern amenities, and great views off the back screened in porch. Very friendly dog across the road greeted us on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this cabin while we were exploring Mammoth Cave and the surrounding hiking trails. It was a perfect location and had everything we needed. It was very clean and very cozy but spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful remote location only 30 minutes from Mammoth Cave NP

Stayed over Labor Day weekend and visited Mammoth Cave and Bowling Green. The house is lovely, we enjoyed the screened-in porch every night. Highly recommend this home.

If you are looking for a comfortable cozy cabin in the woods, this is the place. The cabin is nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The host was quick to respond to all questions. We found a jewel for sure.

Lake front Cabin in gorgeous farmlands

Great stay in the country. Very convenient to Mammoth cave and Corvette museum. Super boys week in the woods. We spent 3 days above and below ground at Mammoth. The little town of Glasgow had everything we needed. Restaurants and attractions.

Tranquil cabin

The location is perfect for exploring mammoth cave and the surrounding area. It was a wonderful home base after long days of hiking. The cabin was very well maintained and had everything you could need. They even had an ice cream scoop. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore.

Amazing Property

This property is exactly like the pictures. Beautiful picturesque view of the lake from the deck. It was extremely clean and well stocked. Our family enjoyed relaxing here each night after exploring the area. Page’s pizza is also worth trying.

We loved the accommodations, it was a peaceful area. The place is nicer than the pictures show in the listing. You can't really get to the lake from the house, but a short drive gets you to some really enjoyable parks. Trip to Mammoth is about 25 minutes and it's a great time heading up there.

We loved this place. Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. We were even able to check in early. The place was very clean and looked wonderful. There was NO noise in the neighborhood. I would stay here again.

Barren River Lake House

We had a very nice stay and found the cabin while searching for a home close to Mammoth Cave National Park. The home is an easy 30 minute drive to the park or to Glasgow for groceries. It is very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we need.The host was very good with communications and directions were easy to follow. I highly recommend this home.

Barren River Lake July 2024

Nice cabin with plenty of indoor outdoor space. Nice to have screen porch area. Plenty of seating for relaxing and dining. Close to Barren River State Park and Marina. Some construction nearby but not too intrusive and should be completed soon.

Lovely KY home

We loved the layout of the house, especially my teen who had the loft all to herself. Home was open which lead to a lot of family time. Loved the screened in porch to watch bats flying at night.

Perfect place to stay

We came to the area to visit the caves. This rental was very clean and updated. Plenty of beds and they were comfortable. It came stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved all the outdoor seating and made use of the fire pit every night. Host was very helpful and easy to contact. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Mammoth Cave

We picked this property because of its location between Mammoth Cave and the Corvette Museum but primarily because of its remote feel. The place was very clean and the views out the backyard were superb. Our kids could explore and while there are neighbors to both sides we only heard 1 car come down the dead end street. We’ll certainly stay here again.

Beautiful surroundings

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin. We were hoping to have more of a view of the lake, but lots of trees obstructed the view. One negative part was the early morning construction going on with a build two houses down. The cabin was very clean, roomy, and everything we needed for our stay. It also was close enough to everything we wanted to do during the day.

Spring Break Trip

Everything was really nice. I wish I had known we couldn’t get to the water when we stayed but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The cleaning staff missed some stuff but overall it was clean. Communication with Kimberly was very easy and provided us with some tips on where we could take my 9 year old fishing.
