The property inside was very spacious and well equipped, the mattress could be replaced it is sagging in the Center pretty good. The area was convenient to catch public transportation, walk to shopping and amenities. However at night the SIRENS from emergency response was very loud, street noise and pedestrians were very loud as well. We did not venture out after dark as it did not seem to be all that safe to do so. There was a lot of dodgy activity around the building.

Magical Family Christmas Stay
Our Christmas stay was absolute perfection! The apartment was beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed to cook our Christmas family meal. The view of Tollbooth was so beautiful that we could help but take pictures at all times if the day. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for to meet up with our children coming for the holidays. We loved Merchant City. Our return trips are already in the making. Thank you!

We loved our stay at these apartments in Glasgow. It was a perfect location and they had everything we needed to enjoy our staff. We loved the balcony and the Tesco Express right downstairs. Will totally stay here again.

Great place to stay. Recommended
Pre-arrival communication was great and we were welcomed outside the property and shown to the parking spot and the apartment. The apartment was great, clean and comfortable. Location was also brilliant with a reasonable walk to the centre and the free parking was a great addition particularly being so close to the centre. We were warned on arrival about the ambulances passing the junction next to the apartment and there was quite a lot. Only found this a minor bother though but if you hate noise you may not like it.

a great apartment within a short walk of the city
We had a great stay at the Tolbooth apartments. Comms were great, and the welcome meeting to collect keys was painless. The apartment was big, with 2 good sized bedrooms, and the en-suite bathroom was excellent. Location was generally quiet and easy to get into the city centre (5 -10 min walk). The parking garage was spacious and secure and having free parking in the city centre is a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Central Glasgow - Fab apartments
Fabulous location for our working trip to Glasgow... 5 mins walk to work! Clean, comfortable apartments with underground parking, really central... a bit of street noise that some complain about... but Glasgow is busy... and no more noise than any hotel. Been here 3 times... and you can be sure we'll be back!

Tolbooth Apartments did not disappoint. Effective email communication, excellent booking in process & when Bryan met us in person the professional service continued. A friendly welcoming Bryan showed us where to park in the basement CP & took us up to the apartment walking us through the necessary basics re: keys & entry doors etc. On our return to Glasgow, we’d happily book a stay in Tolbooth apartments again. The self catering unit had everything you’d likely require plus there’s a Tesco Express & plenty of takeaways in the local area. The place was clean & tidy although some of the bathroom silicone sealant could do with an anti-mould treatment & it may be a good idea to ensure the fridge & freezer are turned on before guests arrive. Minor points but on the whole we were happy with our stay & would book this property from Principal Apartments again.

This apartment was excellent! I would highly recommend staying here. It was super clean. All modern facilities throughout. Amazing kitchen and bathroom. Communication was really good!! Messages on the day before and on the day about the hand over of keys- really flexible and welcoming. The location was perfect for central Glasgow. I’d definitely stay here again.

Its was fantastic. Spotlessly clean. Andy was extremely helpful with checking in easily and helping with my belongings (extra appreciated as traveling with an infant). Couldnt recommend it as a base to explore the city and beyond from enough.

WORKING TRIP
s part of a working group, we had 5 apartments this time... and every one was superb. All slightly different... but all with a high spec feel. Clean, comfortable and handy for both work and socialising. An excellent choice... and cost effective against hotel rooms if there are a number of you staying.

Very handy underground parking with dirt straight into the building, good location, room sizes were good and everything relatively clean. Small balcony was a nice add on. Would re-use in future.

Andy was there to check us is right away & had biscuits and coffee ready to go. He went thru a binder of useful information from using the appliances to locations of restaurants & shops. The place is just exaclty as advertised in photos. Apartment is 3 minute walk to full sized grocery store or just steps to an express one having everything you pretty much need. Walking distance to subway& rail. Great selection of restaurants in area all within walking distance. Apartment was in excellent condition - by far better than the ones we stayed in Inverness & Edinburgh. Would highly recommend!

A group booking for work... and we found a perfect location. Quality apartments and very handy for us. So good... but keep it quiet... the last thing I want is everyone to book up before me!!! Seriously though, they really are great apartments... some with underground parking space. Ideal base and handy for the best restaurants etc

Great City Centre Apartment
Working in Glasgow we had 3 of the apartments for my team... and what a treat they were. My own had a huge lounge looking onto the clock-tower... all of them were spacious... all with great fittings and were so comfortable. The double glazing get rid of any city noise... the rear facing bedrooms were quiet too. With just a short walk into work each day these were an excellent choice... and no doubt we'll be back!

Tolbooth Apartment weekend
Fantastic stay at the Tolbooth Apartments from start to finish. Easy check in with Devin who recommended local places to eat. Apartment as described/advertised, very handy for our needs for the Great Scottish Run, with lift for our older members of the family and a free parking space. Would have no hesitation staying there again or using Principal Apartments. And comfy beds!!

LOVED IT!!!!
We loved staying here in Glasgow. We were welcomed by Devin who was so kind and explained everything to us. The location was perfect! We were fortunate for there to be a parade on one of the days we were there so we were able to open the patio doors and enjoy. The apartment was clean. All the amenities were there for us. I would highly recommend this place as it is accessible to just about anywhere you would like to go. Thank you for making it an enjoyable vacation for us!

Tolbooth apartments excellent
A superb apartment in the heart of Glasgow. Airy, light, wonderfully outfitted with modern appliances and furniture. We had six people and it was very comfortable. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy at night but not so bad with the windows closed. Highly recommended.

Exemplary service, highly recommended.
We received a truly exemplary service, they accommodated our every need even when we were a bit difficult. The apartment itself was furnished with all the items you would ever need from your stay, and the rooms were decorated to a high standard. The main shopping district is minutes away from the apartment which enables a pleasant shopping experience. We would recommend this apartment to anybody, the service you will receive makes the price justifiable.

Great stay in High Street
Lovely, central flat, spotlessly clean. As you would expect from a city centre flat it was a bit noisy in the evening, but as soon as the windows were closed, the noise was gone. Several great restaurants and pubs within 5 minutes of the flat, and a Tesco Express two minutes away. Seamless check in and out. Will definitely be back !
