Bad hotel
Shower was not working with the force. No consistent hot water. In the middle of the shower suddenly cold water literally killed me. Lot of smell of bleach from the bathroom.

The location was good. Although, it was situated uphill, which was difficult to climb up and down daily. Also, it was across from an Elementary School and you can hear noise early morning, midday and afternoon from the kids. The building is nice from the outside, but the rooms are extremely small and not in good shape. There was no soap in the shower and they ask you to leave your key at the front desk each time you leave the building. There is not much street parking, and you need to pay for s permit as well...about 3 pounds.

Central hotel.
Breakfast waitress was fantastic. Room I got what I paid for. Breakfast was more than enough. No towels in the room but when I phoned down because I was settling down for bed. The chap was at my door within mins. Very friendly. I would use again. Very central.

We needed to use the phone, this was not provided. The TV didn't work. When we asked for assistance, the front desk said they could come at 10.30. The time was 8pm.

I wouldn't put my enemies' dog up in this place
When I booked this hotel I was aware that renovations were taking place, but the management assured me they would be finished by the time we arrived, given there was a month in between. When we arrived the front of the hotel was like a building site with rubble, rubbish and plasterboard all over the front and a workman cementing the stairs. In the main foyer there were polythene sheets all around so it was pretty disappointing. The first room we were shown to was mouldy and smelled of damp and stale cigarette smoke, plus the carpet in the hall leading to it was absolutely disgusting. I asked for another room, and was given one that at least was dry and smelled ok, but there some pretty interesting stains on the bed valance, but the bed itself was clean. There was a window into an outside area at the back, which was more or less a rubbish tip. The breakfast was nothing special, with cheapest 'lips and arse' sausages I have ever tasted and everything lukewarm. I wouldn't put my enemies' dog up in this place. An absolute hovel.

Get what you pay for and happy with it
Modernised room. Relatively spacious bathroom. Hairdryer and ironing facilities available. Breakfast was standard. Free WiFi in room was weak. No wardrobe as standard. Windowless bedroom. Get what you pay for and I was content with the stay.
