Apartment was ideally situated for our visit to Glasgow. We spent all of our time in the west end and it was great to be able to park our car at the property and just walk to everywhere we needed. The apartment was warm and cosy, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great communication from our hosts and lots of useful info in our welcome messages and at the property itself.
Great location (quiet street, easy to get to the subway and around the city), very clean, excellent communication from the hosts - everything was wonderful!
Very central to everything. Owners were extremely easy to communicate with & responded quickly to every question I had. Would definately stay here again
We loved being able to walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. We had a great time in Glasgow and felt right at home here. Communications with Jacqui were good and she was quick to respond. We’d be happy to stay here again if we come back this way.
Only two days stay in Glasgow catching up with Family, the apartment is ideally located for both the West End and the main town center.
Communication before and after was fantastic, thank you Jacqui.
We’re elderly and infirm (one of us is in a wheelchair) but we got on OK in this apartment. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood, slightly run-down in the way that quite a lot of Glasgow is, but central and with its own parking.
The apartment was exactly as seen and described in the listing. The host answered any question immediately.
There is an Aldi within walking distance, the tube only a few mins away to access multiple sights and easy to use.
Don’t let the neighbourhood put you off its safe and Glasgow. Which is full of students! We really enjoyed everything about our stay.
The flat is in a good location for walking to the centre or the West End. We had initial misgivings as the area looks a little run down and the communal hallway and outside areas are not terribly inviting. We thought parking might be a problem but Jacqui explained that cheeky non residents park for short periods as on street parking is extortionate. We thought the flat was short of a couple of kitchen items so contacted Jacqui who was very helpful and responsive to all of our requests. I too found the flat cool in the mornings, but I did get the impression that the heating levels could be changed on request. Subway just around the corner.
This was the last place my partner and I stayed on our three week trip in Scotland.
Pros:
- The flat is about a 20 minute walk from downtown and close to a subway station.
- Perfect for one or two people using this as a home base to explore Glasgow.
- The flat was clean and well kept.
- Clear and easy process for check-in/out.
- Price point is great for people not looking to break the bank on accommodation.
- Owners were amenable when I reached out to ask for an accommodation while checking in (which was greatly appreciated)!
Cons:
- The couch looks good but is not the most comfortable.
- The immediate area is primarily residential which means it's quiet (pro) but also not too much going on in terms of amenities.
Overall a very pleasant place for our last few days in Glasgow!
Communication with host was very good. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. We had everything we needed in the accomodation. Comfortable bed and good shower. A little cold in the mornings for us. Well equipped kitchen. Would stay again. Glasgow is amazing and so much to see.
The apartment is exactly as pictured, clean, with everything I needed. The location was convienent and very close to the Glasgow University. I would stay here again most definitely. Jacqui and Brian checked in to make sure I found everything with ease, they were great.
We had a great stay here over the weekend, it's a lovely flat in great location. Highly recommended
Stayed over a weekend in late October, great flat with location just off great western road making it ideal for drinks in the evening. Would recommend anyone to stay here!
good location (for our stay), clean, as described and super helpful hosts
Flat is exactly as described, very convenient to have parking as well. Flat is lovely, clean, functional and check-in was very practical and easy.
Jacqui has been great at communicating with me prior to our stay making it all the easier for us upon arrival out of social hours.
Just off the M8 and close to both city centre and west end so a win win.
Thank you Jacqui and Brian, really enjoyed staying at this flat and will make sure to check out availability again should I be back!
Beautiful flat beautiful location- Jacqui was a fantastic host and great with communication before during and after our stay. Will definitely be back in the future !
