"This cabin is great. From check in to check out everything was as stated and cabin was great. I would definitely stay here a again. Only a few miles from main entrance to New River Gorge, and Thurmond. Easy drive to all other parts of the National Park. We even got in a few State Parks and 1 Battlefield. And dog friendly was the icing on the cake."

"The little house was exactly as described. It was very cute, spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and I’m picky about my bed! The train tracks are VERY close, but we enjoyed watching the trains go by. There were about 3 per night. The horns woke us but we were lulled back to sleep by the sound of the trains. The kitchen was well equipped but I suggest you bring your own spices if you plan to cook. The area is gorgeous and we were able to hike many trails throughout the park....

"We spent a few nites here exploring the area. The house had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at home and the kitchen was fully stocked. Enjoyed the screens in porch listening to the river. Both beds were very comfy. We hung out by the fire (there was plenty of wood) across the street we had river access and I even caught a fish! The house does sit next to a road- but there was very little traffic and it’s quiet and peaceful. It’s a great location to go explore we visited a coal...

"The cadin was what I expected. True to the pictures. It was very clean. I chose this place to get closer to God and that was what i got. My only suggestion to the property's owners is that the screening around the porch be fixed. It let in some yellow jackets and a couple got in the house. Would not be good if somebody staying there got stung and was allergic to them. Overall, I would go back."

Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk!
