Perfect for a family vacation
Great place as a base to explore Gisborne and surrounds. Air con a bonus on really hot days...would stay again...Phil was very accommodating and available as required. Thanks😀

Summer Getaway close to the beach
Emerald Hotel
Was told had room on riverside. But was put on main road with trucks going all night. Asked for shower in unit and we got a spa bath was hard to climb into bath as hips problems. One staff member sent not a nice text when I had gone out of town for day demanding I pay by 2pm for the last night.

Foyer and shared area was immaculate, room itself had a few areas that need tidying up in the bathroom (shower door/tap sealing messy, vent was very dusty). Parking all good. Pool was great but lights went off automatically at 830 (clerk said pool shut at 9, couldn't turn them back on, ...
