"This property is a gem. The host is very welcoming and has a wealth of information about the best places to eat and visits. The rooms are simple but very clean. Ideal location central to main tourist sites but not noisy. Strongly recommend."
"I enjoyed so much about the stay. First, the warm welcome by the owner who greeted us at our car. A car we parked easily and nearby for free. Then the room. With a balcony and plenty of room. We walked to get groceries and walked to dinner each night. Everything was easily accessible by foot. The photo art on the walls was a treat. We would look to stay here again and would highly recommend. "
"The property is very convenient for visits at the Megapolis archeological park (5/10 mins walk) and the island of Ortigia (30 mins). The host has been superfriendly and provided lots of useful recommendations for must see and restaurants in Syracuse."
"This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Lorenzo at the front desk was the nicest person giving us great dinner recommendations.
The view from the room was incredible.Location is great."

"We really enjoyed this property. The buildings are ancient, but completely renovated and clean. Bathrooms are new, beds are comfortable with good linens. Breakfasts are excellent with many choices. "
Grand Hotel Des Ètrangers - The Leading Hotels of the World
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is fantastic! The room was so clean, has in room tea facilities and quality toiletries. There’s many towels, slippers and dressing gowns. The breakfast buffet selection is vast and had quality items with gluten free and dairy free options. Cooked items are also available to order. Staff service was outstanding and they are incredibly helpful. The pool area and view are lovely. Great service at the pool too with towels already on the loungers and service to your lounger. The pool food menu is very limited however. The Clou restaurant serves delicious food and has a large wine list with roof top dining and lovely ambience. Parking is difficult as it’s a restricted zone but the hotel offer valet parking for €50 per night. Alternatively, we found €20 euro per night parking in the visitor bays at Porta marina which is 5 min walk from the hotel. Location is great however it is next to restaurant that has an outdoor terrace with very loud music until the early hours of the morning that can be heard if you are in the deluxe sea view room. Room service was efficient with quality food. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!"
"The location is great! Hotels stuff is helpful.
The room is big, clean and has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable.
However the air conditioner is VERY loud. The bathroom smelled like urine and the shower head didn’t work well. It seems like the holes in the shower head were all clogged. "
"Spacious clean room! Mine was street facing and super quiet with windows fully shut. Didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but the staff held my luggage until my room was ready, gave recommendations and was convenient to many shops and restaurants. "
