This place was GREAT. We arrived super tired and the staff was amazing and helped us into our rooms. The area around this hotel was so fun and it was the best location on the beach. The food at the restaurant was great and the room was so comfortable and clean !!! We will definitely book here again in the future

Great Stay!

My husband and I stayed here while getting our PADI Open Water and it was really nice. We booked the plunge pool room and we thought the price was very reasonable. The bathroom was large and clean. We had a fridge and drinking water which was essential and the room was quite spacious and felt very private. It’s right on the beach so we were able to get dropped off by the speed boat right at the hotel.

Nice island hotel I’ve been too. Everything is outside. Room is massive and you’re own large personal bathroom is outside in a patio to give you an outdoor shower. Absolutely beautiful. Great pool and right on the strip. Also very quiet at night. I actually extended my stay another 2 days because I knew I’d never get a place like this again.

Loved my stay. The room was clean and had everything I needed. I really appreciated the gallon of fresh drinking water supplied in the room. The staff were amazing and the location was perfect for my needs. Close enough to walk the length of the main road, but far away to not be bothered by the nightlife. Breakfast and dinner right by the water at the on site restaurant was fantastic. I had two massages with Mais at the spa, and felt very relaxed afterwards. Thanks Scallywags team 🙏

Had a wonderful time, beautiful soft bed,good linen great hotel had good pool. Had room overlooking the pool, just perfect. Good breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. In great spot, not far from anywhere. Would i stay there again? A big YES!

Would Stay Again!

Really nice hotel within walking distance of the port (this means you can avoid taking the horses!) Breakfast was great and filling with lots of options. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Really interesting to have an outdoor shower so that was a fun experience. Highly recommend their spa treatments too - so good and affordable! Also, as we were part of Scallywags in Gili T, we we able to use their facilities in Gili A - great bonus!

Good location, a few minutes walk from the harbour which saves one having to haggle the price for horse cart. Hotel restaurant right on the beach (beautiful setting). Friendly staff. Our room, next to the reception,was surprisingly quiet even though there are are plenty of bars with loud music nearby. Not that many loungers by the pool but we were spending most of the time on the beach, snorkelling and hopping to the other islands. Overall nice and easy stay 😊

Had a garden room with a cute little courtyard. Room was very clean, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and has a fully open air bathroom, which is a bit strange feeling at first, but the coolest shower under the stars. The restaurant was tasty and the beach is beyond magnificent. I was impressed by this resort. My room was very quiet and the pool was tranquil and usually not busy. I’d happily recommend this spot.

The property is located in a great location, close from the main pier and very conveniently in the main strip of shops. Our room had AC issue and instead of a double bed, we were given a twin bed. They did fix their mistake and also got someone to fix the AC and gave us another room to rest in. The drawers were also not emptied from previous guests.

There were times where after some food on the beach I wanted to escape the heat and my private pool with some Bintangs from the mini bar were just what I needed! All the staff were very kind and helpful! I can’t recommend this place enough! If you stay at scallywags you are going to love it!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Scallywags in two adjoining garden villa rooms. Although the hotel is close to the busy part of the island we didn't hear a thing from the rooms. The food at the restaurant was great, as was the service from the staff. Was very easy to lie on the beach out the front of the hotel and to swim with the turtles as they floated past. Highly recommended.
