"Great location and views of the lake from the backyard. The screened in porch kept us outside for most of our stay. Very well stocked for first aid and toiletries if you forget something. Great area for UTV/ATV trails and fishing on the lake. Property manager had many ideas for what to do in the area and was easily reachable."

"We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. "Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!"

"We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"

"The cabin was absolutely great! It was very clean. If you have kids, they have a baby gate, pack & play and booster seat. They even had supplies for your pup. The sauna was great and got nice and hot. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The hosts were very quick to respond."

"Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try."

"Several friends and I visit the Northwoods once a year around this time for a weekend of ATV trail riding. We've stayed at a few locations and always had good luck. This location was no different. Plenty of room (inside & out), comfortable furnishings and bedding, great location (across from gas station & on the trail), and lots of little touches. I highly recommend staying here and will likely do so again myself!"

"The condo was clean and cozy and our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfy and the jetted tub was an added bonus. Unfortunately due to lack of snow the lift right next to the condo was not running but had it been this is an excellent location for ski in ski out. It was only a short walk to the new high speed lift. Myron was a great host and very responsive. We will definitely be booking for next year hopefully the snow will be back for next year!"

"We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! "The Copper House in Wakefield was just what we expected. It was cozy and perfect for our girls trip. We explored the area including the Porcupine Mountains. "We were five friends visiting the UP for our annual ski trip and this was the most pleasant stay we've ever had! There was so much space for all of us to exist without feeling cramped. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was so nice to relax our sore muscles. The non-skiers among us appreciated being in town to wander around to shops and cafes while the rest of us were on the slopes. It's clear a lot of care and love went into this apartment....
