Perfect lake getaway on Lake Murray with private dock and boat ramp. 15 minutes from Lexington by car and a short 10 minute boat ride across the lake to Dreher Island State Park. 7 minutes from JC's Outdoors bait and tackle shop and Southern Oaks wedding venue. Lots of parking for boats and trailers. Sleeps 11 - 1 King, 2 Queens, 5 Twins (4 of the twins can be made into 2 Kings).1 step up into the house from parking area to access main living area and master bedroom. 2 steps up into kitchen and dining area. 2 steps up to access two of the bedrooms. 1 step down to access the sunroom.

The view is amazing

This property filled every need we had. The communication from the host was great even before we booked the property. Bugs are very present as the day turns into evening, but that’s life at the lake. The house is in a very calm area surrounded by properties whose owners care about them. Highly recommended! 10/10

What a great property!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this property. The hosts did NOT miss ANY details. Plenty of linens, towels, etc. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer. I would 100% stay at this property again if I ever go back to SC.

Great location and property!

We had a three night stay at Jo Ann’s property and it could not have been better! Perfect location and the house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Highly recommend this rental if you are looking to visit Lake Murray!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous and the location was perfect. Chris and Jo Ann had great communication and were very helpful. We will certainly be back again and we highly recommend this beautiful lake house!

GREAT VACATION

We had a great time. It was so nice to have a landing right in the yard with the pontoon and jet ski's. Beautiful lake. Plenty of space and the Host, JoAnn, responded to every question. Thank you for all you did.

Nice spot on the lake with great sunsets!

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The house location is ideal, the house is cozy, clean, and the beds are comfy! We brought our boat and enjoyed the ramp, dock, and all the lake has to offer. Will visit again. Many thanks to Jo Ann for helping us get a few items we mistakenly left at the property.

Nice and relaxing

We loved our stay so much we are going back next year and have already booked. The host is very responsive. The yard is lovely and well maintained. The house was cozy and comfortable for our group. The grill was our only issues it works ok but could definitely be replaced. The oven works great just is a bit small so plan accordingly. This was truly one of our best stays ever!

Lovin' lake life

We were in town for a wedding at The Vines located about 10 minutes away from the house so it was perfect! The house we well equipped and comfortably slept our family members. I would agree with some of the other reviews that there should be some type of light blocking drapes in the sunroom if people sleep in there. Also, there could be a curtain in the living room as that window is directly above one of the sunroom beds. I would highly recommend staying here!

Awesome house for fisherman

We stayed at the house for a tournament we were fishing. The house was very roomy and clean. Boat ramp was good. Plenty of room for boat/trailer parking. We had 3 trucks and boats. Plenty of parking for 3 more. Check in was simple. Owner responded to every email I sent within 20 minutes. We will be staying there again. Check out JC Outdoors. Great tackle shop with friendly workers. Thank you for the stay. Well worth the money. Marc

* AMAZING PROPERTY & OWNER *

** I recently stayed at this VRBO property with my fiancé and 2 friends from out of town - We absolutely LOVED our stay here and HIGHLY recommend to others. If I could give this 6 stars...I would :) From the moment you get to the front door and enter, we already felt welcomed! Our Host, Jo Ann was outstanding with her communications and flexibility. She was always quick to respond to my (many) questions. Upon entering, our group was greeted with a wonderfully clean & clean smelling home. The Lake decor is awesome, and each room has its own charm. Albeit, we had a very rainy week, we absolutely enjoyed and loved our Lake Murray view and private dock access. Very easy to get to and tucked away in a perfect little cove. Check-in was very simple, enter a quick code on the key pad and you're in.... and time to unwind and relax. Even our dog had his own favorite room (the sunroom) ;-) We spent 3 memorable nights at this property, and already want to go back next Summer. I cannot thank Jo Ann enough for her impeccable home and hospitality - - it was a true pleasure working with her and staying at her cozy lake home. Thank you, Jo Ann!!! Jenn

Our favorite lake getaway! Perfect location with quiet cove. Large private yard. Boat ramp is an added perk to have at the house. Our boat had issues on day two but we still enjoyed sitting in the yard and the dock. Looking forward to our next time renting!

Graduation Celebration

We rented the property to celebrate our daughter's USC graduation. JoAnn is the owner and did a great job communicating and giving us tips to optimize our stay and fun. The property was exactly as listed. Very clean, great location, and spacious enough for the two families to enjoy.We rented a pontoon boat for my daughter and her friends to celebrate at Lazy Waves that JoAnn had suggested. That was directly across from the house so it made pick up and drop off very easy.We look forward to renting this house again in fall if the opportunity presents itself for our visit to a Gamecock football game. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Great place to stay for our Masters trip

Very gracious host who made our stay wonderful. What a great setting right on the lake! Beautiful sunsets from the dock. Quiet street, too. Would stay here again if we’re lucky enough to be down for the tournament again. It’s a quick 1-hour drive over to Augusta.
