The hotel is right at the historic square, next to the old part of the city. Amazing location, excellent food options nearby or walkable, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I would definitely book here again!
Best location to enjoy the city of Gijon. Staff makes you feel like you are at home. Near all the atractions of the city and a very good option to dine. Loved it, will come back for sure.
Excellent hotel, excellent location (our room even had a view of the Playa), tons of cafes and bars around, easy walking to tons of shopping. Our room had 3 big windows that opened for fresh air but there is A/C too. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
A fairly old, basic hotel, very well located, in need of significant structural maintenance, especially bathrooms. Offers limited food service, which is offset by the multiple dining options in the surrounding area. Overall, price-quality ratio is high, perhaps only justified by its prime location.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good and is a great bargain. Located right across the street from the ocean. Many, many restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the entire hotel was very clean. We would definately stay there again!!
Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the beach and the old town. It’s a 10 minute way to the “Calle la Corrida” that it’s full of stores and restaurants. The rooms are big and confortable, some even have a full size jacuzzi.
Just a comment based on a mistake I made: the hotel does not have a parking. There is a public parking 8 minutes walking from the hotel.
Absolutely couldn't fault our stay at the Asturias. Location is fantastic, with great views over the beach and a minute's walk to the Marina and old town. Service, particularity at check in, was what yours expect at a five star hotel. Room was spotless and comfortable, and our balcony overlooking the sea an unexpected bonus.
A lovely hotel for two nights the staff was super friendly and very accommodating especially Andrea . The room was very clean and modern. We had a great view of the water too. It’s in a great location, pretty quiet and close to some good restaurants. Especially Rumble… great fish. Took a lovely walk behind hotel. Super close to beach, but not on beach.

The stay was good for the price. The room was clean but there was a lack of upkeep, as the walls had markings, the bathroom didn't drain well, the place felt "run down". I paid a little more for one of the newer rooms. The room was a good size, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The locations is great. As others have said, this is not a 4 star hotel, but for $80/night I was ok with that.

Nice enough, but a bit disappointing
Location was good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable enough, if a bit sterile. The staff was friendly.
I booked this hotel over others in part because it said they had parking available. They really don’t. There is parking well off site, and it really isn’t much of a discounted rate from the regular parking garage (19 for their area, 24 for the public lot) . Plus, there is nowhere to park near the hotel to unload luggage, check-in etc, and the info about where the parking is is in the lobby of the hotel, not listed on the site.

They don’t have parking and sent me to public parking which is hard to find. At check in there was only one person and was not helpful. Room was ok
Room rate was good.
The room was clean.
There was no water, tissues or mini-bar.
Parking is extremelt difficult. We had to park illegally.
No restaurant in or nearby.
Receptionist did not speak english.

There were bed bugs in the bed! I got bug bites after the first night, thought it was mosquito. Then it happened again the second night and woke me up. I actually saw several little bed bugs crawling over. I have them on camera. Disgusting.
