"We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. The property is in excellent condition with nice decor and period furniture. Our superior room was quite spacious, nicely decorated and furnished and offered a view of the sea and the main square. The breakfast terrace offers a wonderful view of the sea and the beach. The property location is just perfect - the hotel is literally next to the cathedral on one side and next to the beach on the other. There is a public car park only 5 minute away from the hotel. Breakfast was good but I’d say it could be improved - while we enjoyed that you could order a la carte, we would have appreciated more variety with a buffet and more local specialties. Again, amazing hotel and we definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Amalfi! "

"We loved staying at the excelsior the it had an amazing view and rooms were huge and very clean and felt at home. The shuttle service was fantastic as if you like walking the Aldi Center is about 30min walk down steps… Maurizio and Antonio the drivers were so friendly and can’t thank them enough! "Stayed here for a week and wish it could have been longer. Away from the busy areas of the amalfi but the shuttle bus provided into bomerano is a massive plus. Room extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast very good. But for us the big positive was the staff. From the cleaners, to the breakfast staff and the receptionist. All were very helpful and extremely polite and happy. Special mention to Ida who couldnt do enough for us on our stay. We will be back... "
