Intera Villa Storica di Charme con Piscina e Parco

"The correspondence and information provided before departure was comprehensive and accurate, and particular thanks to Gabriele who pre-arranged for a bike for our cycling-obsessed granddaughter. The accommodation surpassed all our expectations. None of the photos do it full justice. Our extenfamily of 12 fitted well into the three apartments, and the well-equipped central kitchen and dining room was perfect for meals for the entire family.The grounds were also outstanding. The large pool was an obvious highlight for the younger element, with plenty of sun loungers to make the most of the incredible weather, but there was also plenty of shady areas for we “olds”. The barbecue, pizza oven and outdoor eating areas were also a highlight. The location was ideal. 20 minutes from Malpensa airport, under an hour to Lakes Orta and Maggiore, and under two hours drive to both Milan and Turin. The village itself provided everything we needed - a local deli with daily fresh bread, the Sports Bar - whose owner was the most welcoming I have ever known - and a number of local restaurants.We were staying during the hottest period in living memory, and, in spite of Claudia’s best efforts, the air conditioning proved "temperamental". As advised by other reviews, the mosquitos were also very active - but these were very small issues and in no way spoilt the holiday.Overall an excellent stay, and we’d have no reservations about recommending the area, accommodation or hosts."

"Property is a little bit older but they are making upgrades. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Our bathroom had been upgraded and had lots of room…wasn’t your typical tiny European bathroom! Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Would stay here again."
