"ABSOLUTELY A FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY AND A WONDERFUL HOST!!! Me and my family of 4 shoot competition 3D archery and we had a up coming shoot in the area. When I came across this listing I was intrigued to book it just for the night before the competition. The host was absolutely amazing and the communication was amazing. Checking in was simple and easy no fuss no muss. When we arrived at the cabin we were blown away by how beautiful it was and how clean everything was. My daughters were able to get settled in very quickly and was in the bed before I knew it. If you’ve traveled with a 14 and 11 year old’s you know how excited they can get when staying at different places and not wanting to go to sleep. But my girls told me before they went to bed that it felt like HOME!! The next morning we had to get up early and leave out for our competition. Check out was as simple and easy as check in was. At breakfast we all talked about how wonderful the cabin was and how we were all able to get great sleep. Especially my girls were telling me on how great they slept and that they were ready for the competition and ready they were. My oldest took 2nd in her class only missing out on 1st by 1 point. The youngest took 1st in her class, my wife took 1st in her class, and I took 1st in my class. This wouldn’t have been possible without a peaceful, comfortable, and clean place to sleep. We will DEFINITELY COME BACK!!! Hopefully it will be when can stay longer."

"We had an excellent stay and the view is amazing. The property was very nice and suited our needs. The 2 separate levels was great in providing some privacy with lots of space for a large group. My only suggestion would be to review kitchen (2 of them) supplies and provide some grilling utensils (grill also needs some attention). Would definitely stay here again and the host was very quick to reply to questions/needs."

"Great property for a family vacation. Everyone from 10 - 70 years old had a wonderful time. The extra amenities offered for our use (kayaks, lily pad, rafts) were much appreciated. Kids loved jumping into the water from the top deck and playing with the multitude of board games available. Kitchen was very well stocked. Melissa was always so prompt with responses and a pleasure to work with. Would stay again if ever back in the area."

"House was fantastic for our month long stay away from Florida heat. Isolated and quiet yet minutes from lovely Hayesville. House was on the river and we loved every minute. Screened porch was our “go to” place for AM coffee, reading, relaxing, and afternoon wine. House stocked extremely well(kitchen, towels, etc.). We loved Hayesville and Hiawassee. My sister and I also fly fished Fires Creek, Mission Dam, Tusqiutee Creek & Nantahala River. Tough summer fishing but it is “fishing “. If I could give more stars than 5 for Wood Haven I would. Theresa was wonderful and very responsive. One of the best VRBO’s I’ve experienced."

"Very nice VRBO. Modern kitchen, new washer & dryer, spacious living room, two nice bedrooms with updated bathrooms.We spent the week fishing & enjoying the lake. This was perfect for us with a convenient boat ramp just down the street."
