About this property

Delightful garden cottage, realistically priced, near to Gibbs / Mullins beaches

  • Warawee cottage is well designed, airy and set in over half an acre of beautiful tropical manicured gardens. This delightful cottage is secure, tastefully furnished and comprises one bedroom with vaulted ceiling, shower room, separate fully fitted kitchen and a lounge-diner. It has its own private terrace surrounded by hibiscus, ginger lilies and bougainvillea. A wood gazebo with table and chairs for you to enjoy alfresco dinning and sun beds for topping up the tan. It is secluded and offers privacy. There are ceiling fans throughout, Air conditioning in the bedroom, satellite TV, with sports channels/package, WiFi and secure parking. There is outside night lighting which can be operated manually if required. The walk to both Gibbs or Mullins beaches is level and takes 3-4 mins. The housekeeper is on site 5 days weekly usually from 09.00 her days vary according to guests needs. Wendy has been with us for 26 years. She is utterly trust worthy and a fountain of local knowledge; so if you have any queries about the bus or shops, just ask. We can arrange for a taxi to collect you from the airport, you pay him direct.
    Wendy cleans the cottage twice weekly, when linen and beach towels are changed. She often meets and welcomes new guests on arrival, but there is an information booklet giving all details you will need if she is unable to greet guests. An email is sent a week before arrival giving full access details.
    Although there is a pool available in the garden, it is attached to the main house. If the main house is empty then all are welcome to use it.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in a fabulous location. Private, peaceful with a stunning garden yet only a couple of minutes from Mullin's and Gibbs beaches and great restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!

Amazing, so happy. Will be booking again ASAP.Gardens are beautiful (Outstanding!) along with the accommodation. Has everything you could possible require, PERFECT. All the staff where extremely helpful. Most importantly the area is outstanding with a mix of holiday makers and local residence which is lovely. Very quiet, could not hear any noise form the road (Yay). Beach is steps away, together with shops, bars, restaurants in walking distance. No need for car hire as the buses take you everywhere. Thank you for the best stay!!

Another fantastic trip

Our 5th trip to this lovely cottage and still special. A great place to stay with everything you need, including humming birds buzzing about. Opposite best beaches in Barbados, in my opinion, and very easy access to multiple restaurants, bars and locations.

Beautiful 1 bed cottage

Sam’s place is a British 1 bed cottage in the grounds of her property. Ideal for a couple. It is tranquil and walking distance to the beaches. Cottage is fully equipped for all you need if you want tea eat in and also has portable sunbed chairs To take to the beach. Highly recommend for a quote stay in Brasil Barbardos

Fabulous

We have had a fantastic holiday, Sam’s house and Gardens are spectacular. The studio is perfect for two people, Wendy the house keeper looks after you very well. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful home and look forward to returning in the future. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and bars . Thank you Sam & Wendy

Very well equipped cottage. Wendy took great care of us. Very good communication with the owner. Also lovely outdoor space. Garden is amazing with humming birds. There’s air con in the bedroom. Parking for your car and a short walk to beaches.

A little "Gem" in a perfect location

The location of this villa is perfect. 5mins to Gibbs Bay which is a quiet beach or 5mins to Mullens, which has a couple of bars. Really quiet - air con perfect for the night time. Very clean - every thing you need for a peaceful stay. We hired a car for the last few days, no issues with parking the hire car on the property. We will return. Host very helpful and great communication.

Fabulous as always

Our 3rd stay at Warrawee cottage which I think sums up our feelings. We have already booked for next year. Great location close to Gibbs and mullins beach. Good WiFi. Everything you need. 2 weeks at Warawee in November / December 2024

3rd time at the cottage, it just gets better, Brilliant place for 2 adults in a perfect location. Totally private and quiet. Good location for anywhere on the west coast by bus or explore the island by car easily from here. Gibbes beach still undergoing repairs after hurricane Beryl but should be back to normal soon, in our opinion this is one of the best beaches on the island and only 5 minutes walk, Mullins beach also 5 minutes walk. A really beautiful garden to relax in if you don't want to go anywhere. The main electric gates with code entrance provide security and piece of mind. Wonderful Wendy is on hand most mornings to look after your every need.

Paradise

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The setting is superior to any five star hotel. The house itself is very well equipped and comfortable with a lovely shady seating area overlooking the lush garden. Humming birds in abundance! It’s just a short walk to two beautiful beaches and a lovely beach bar/restaurant. Regular buses pass the end of the drive. Wendy the housekeeper looked after us very well and can answer any queries you may have. Sam, the owner, is the loveliest lady. She is most thoughtful and kind and it was a joy to meet her. We have already recommended the property to family and when we return we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. Thank you Sam for sharing your beautiful property.

Fabulous garden cottage, literally a steady 5 minutes walk to Gibbes beach or 3 minutes to Mullins beach. Well-equipped and freshly decorated, with aircon in bedroom. Everything as described and more. Looked after by the lovely Wendy but not intrusive. Hummingbirds, green monkeys, parakeets and butterflies in abundance in the amazing garden. Wonderful stay

What a wonderful garden villa, in the most amazing gardens with the perfect hosts including Wendy, a wonderful housekeeper. It has all you need for a truly relaxing break, Gibbs beach is awesome and Mullins beach bar is the perfect end to a long lazy day on the beach with the nicest staff. We couldn't recommend it enough and the local knowledge imparted by the owners on where and when makes it so much more special and personal.
