"Appena arrivati la persona alla reception è stata molto gentile. Appena arrivati sul piano della camera c'era un cattivo odore, forse dipende dal lavaggio o pulizia della moquette. Entrando in camera entro nella doccia e vedo che il soffione è altissimo e non si poteva regolare, poi la porta della doccia chiudendola se ne cadeva. La mattina seguente a colazione appena scesi non c'era un tavolo disponibile ed abbiamo dovuto attendere circa 15 minuti prima di sederci, la cosa più brutta e vedere...

Unfortunately, the dining experience at the attached restaurant was really disappointing. Both my dish—burnt, almost inedible risotto—and my companion’s tasteless seafood pasta were far below expectations. The service in the restaurant was also subpar. It’s a shame, as everything else about the hotel was so great."

Gorizia is a beautiful, small, Italian college town. We had a delicious dinner just across the street and truly enjoyed the 16th century bar in our hotel where the bartender told us a lot about the hotel history. "

"This property looks great from outside but it needs a full renovation badly. It felt like walking into a hotel in the early 90s. Carpets in the rooms are worn out and faded. Staff don’t show a lot of enthusiasm for what they do. Housekeeping was the worst. Upon arrival I noticed duvets were not very clean. A lot of hair on and in the duvet. I had to ask for them to be replaced. The shampoo and body wash container in the bathroom was empty throughout my stay. I travel with my own so didn’t need...
