Our host was very helpful, however, didn't speak English and was too much under-foot. The apartment itself was pretty good, but lacked indoor sitting area, but there was a large outdoor patio. The kitchen/outdoor furniture was flimsy, and supplies tp/garbage bags etc. were limited. Parking was very good. The property/neighborhood was gated, so very secure, but was otherwise somewhat run-down. The location is great for visiting Etna/Taormina etc. Overall, this was a good value, and a good place to base our visit.
