Victor and the staff are kind, friendly and make you feel so welcome. Lovely breakfasts, fresh fruits and wonderful omelettes. Very clean and use of a communal kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We had the most wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matias B&B on the beautiful island of Gozo. Breakfast was amazing with fresh local sweets and bread in addition to cooked to order. Victor is a wealth of information- and it was fascinating hearing about the rich local history and traditions from him. We will definitely come back!!

staying here was overall a positive experience. the property is beautiful and the area is quiet. there were issues that were not fixed such as lack of a shower curtain, as well as limited breakfast options (no vegetables) and bugs in the pool. there is no sound isolation in the rooms. unfortunately this was less than we expected.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast!

This was the nicest bed and breakfast we have ever been too! They were very attentive and had an amazing selection of breakfast. We will definitely come back!

From the first hello by Jacob to the last good bye by Victor to Carmen and the Irish lady (can’t remember her name) in between it was perfect. They are all there to simply help you stop everything and enjoy your being. The structure is over 400 years old farm house that was transformed into an oasis. It was like visiting family, went down for an amazing home cooked breakfast that included fresh baked cake sometimes two every single day. To experience Gozo I choose a B&B and not just another hotel, I was beyond happy and needless to say, I’ll be back❤️

Beautiful property in a nice peaceful place. The breakfast was delicious and especially the homemade cake which was different every day. Spotlessly clean and each bedroom had its own seating area inside and balcony outside. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed talking to Victor every morning who gave us plenty of advice and lots of laughs. We met Sonia on our last day who was equally friendly and helpful. We would definitely stop again. The happiest place on earth.

I’ve been travelling in Malta and Gozo for a month and I’ve stayed in so many different types of places ranging from 5 star hotels all the way to the bottom; this place is hands down the nicest property I might have ever stayed in. It’s one of my favourite places in the world now. It’s not me of my happy places. I wish I could have frozen time and stayed there for a thousand years. You’ll have to see it and experience it to understand. The kitchen is huge and it’s so secluded and quiet…. It’s just the best. The photos of this place could Never do it justice.

Great B&B Newley remodeled. Original house was build over 300 years ago. We’ve had beautiful room upstairs with access to covered balcony with great views. Big, excellent breakfast made to order. Very helpful and friendly staff. Owners Victor and Sonia at the location with tons of local information to share. You will not disappointed with staying there. Enjoy! Peter & Margaret

Relaxing 13 nights in sleepy Gozo

Excellent, friendly hosts with the home touch. Nice to have the use of the kitchen & a shelf in the fridge for food when you wanted a night in. Tasty breakfast - be prepared for cakes, bread, ham, cheese & cooked. Comfortable bed and nice balcony area. We really enjoyed our visit & will be back.
