Waterfront retreat with private dock, hot tub, sauna and spectacular gulf views
10/10 Excellent
"From our "Point of View" this is one of the most wonderful homes in all of Maine. From the beautiful home to the unbelievable views to the dock on the bay to the kayaks to the basement game room to the solo stove firepit and hot tub and sauna to the amazing Reid State Park beach up the road to the authentic and delicious Five Islands Lobster Pound 5-minutes away.... we couldn't have asked for anything more for our family vacation to Maine.... we even cooked mussels that we harvested off the dock with a recipe shared by our host, Jill! Jill was super responsive to our questions and text messages and her attention to details and hospitality practically made us feel like family. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our return to the wonderful Georgetown Island! Thank You, Jill! "
Delightful oceanfront home with amazing views, wrap-around deck & two fireplaces
8/10 Good
"We checked in no problem. We discovered shortly after 4 pm we had no water. I got in touch with Vacasa to inform them that we had no water. They said they would contact the local team and they would be in touch with us. This went on all through the evening with the same response except they always asked if there was anything else they could help us with.. At 10 pm we turned in with no water the last message from them was the local team would contact us in the am. We heard nothing from the local team. I again contacted Vacasa in the am and complained with the response the local team would be in Touch with me. Around 10:30 am a nice man showed up to fix the water issue which only took him 5 minutes. He said It was the first he had heard from Vacasa just before he came over. He left us his personal number if we had anymore issues. We loved the house but I would hesitate to rent any properties Vacasa manages"
