It was ideally located in Georgetown - close enough to walk to the excitement but off on waterloo street gives a bit of privacy and quiet when needed, the Bistro has excellent food and the staff was extremely helpful and professional.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Kings Hotel & Residences. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel like a home away from home. To be honest, it didnt feel like we ever left the states with all the convenience and amenities the hotel had to offer.

The things I like about the hotel. It was clean and quiet. I felt safe staying here, the 24 hours front desk service is very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site, but several options close by that’s walkable. Easy to get a taxi and most places in town, are walkable .

Great Location

This is a boutique hotel and the rooms are spacious with showers that have hiot water. The location is close to may eateries and there is a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was great and needed in the hot climate. We did eat at the Bistro restaurant next door, the food is excellent

Decent Hotel

The hotel was in a good position for getting around Georgetown. Most things are in walking distance, Hotel reception was very good At ordering a taxi and getting a price. The hotel could benefit from having a communal area, that seems impossible now. It would be it would’ve been nice to have a kettle.

It was clean. They provided water bottles daily. Restaurant had decent food. The restaurant has a good ambiance and many locals eat there. The Music can be loud on weekends and may be heard in the rooms, but one can still sleep.

The bed is to die for, very clean and comfortable. I did not like they do not have an elevator and no ice machine on the floors. Last, this is a business so someone should always be there to clean.

Excellent customer service, all the staff whom we encountered were very friendly helpful and of good cheer. A beautiful hotel and residences equipped with the standards to get by whilst on your trip in Guyana, Georgetown. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay at this lovely and healthy environment. The cafe bistro does amazing food dishes and has a great bar to enjoy luscious alcoholic beverages. Loved the coconut prawns, fried rice and steak dishes. Great variety to choose from and everything is affordable. Overall 9/10 for a hotel excellent service and excellent house keeping helping to keep the environment clean and friendly for all guests. Well done folks! Keep up the good works!

A good option that is clean, safe and centrally located. Great food and drink available just downstairs at Bistro. The only downside- There are larger than normal spaces under the room door which noise and light comes in.l through. A rolled towel helps but if anyone is having a coversation in the corridor, you definitely feel a part of it.

The hotel and room were clean, and the bedroom was comfortable. However, the breakfast service was below par, and the menu was often restricted to one item for breakfast. The coffee was substandard and expensive. I think the cost was a bit high for this location where the guards suggested against going out on foot. Seedy neighborhood although close to downtown.

Our stay overall was good minus the water being out on our second morning there. The staff were trying their best to resolve the issue but it was still an inconvenience to not have any running water and no appropriate back up plans. The kettle in the room did not work. There is barely any parking due to the high traffic to the restaurant. The parking attendant does not do enough for residents staying at the hotel to get parking, instead the manager had to come out and mouth off a truck driver who was trying to park in a spot that we were waiting for. I liked the convenience of walking to various restaurants in the area as well as how sound proof the walls were to deter any road noises.

Likes : decent, modern rooms , extremely friendly and helpful staff especially Ken and Marlon. Daily housekeeping, they replenish the water daily. The bed is comfortable. BISTRO is the best! I haven’t had a bad meal there. The bartenders are also very friendly and talented. They make some of The best cocktails and provide quality service. Dislikes : our first room had an odor , and was on the side of the property where the generator is located, so there was constant noise. Additionally, the property is being improved so there was construction during the day and materials in the hallway during my visit. I complained to the front desk staff about my room and, the manager immediately came to speak with me and relocated us. I gave this review 4 stars because of the noise nuisance and the initial smelly room. But, once we were relocated , our visit went smoothly. I have recommended this property to friends and family and will definitely stay there again.
