Perfect stay for a Loveland ski trip! The house has great character and is within walking distance of restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location made getting to the slopes easy. Would definitely stay again!
Great place with a lot of character in a quiet corner of town.
We loved the bungalow and particularly appreciated the interesting decor, art selections, and well-stocked kitchen. A truly charming spot to rest after a long day skiing!
House was in a great location! Great for a quick visit to Georgetown. Owner was quick to respond and it was great to check in early. We enjoyed our stay!
Charming home well equipped with everything you might need. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Close to historic downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
We enjoyed our stay. There were a few things we thought would be helpful for a future guest (making sure all lightbulbs were working, for example). All in all, we were very comfortable and would definitely use this verbo again.
My husband and I came to Colorado to ski. The house was conveniently located to many ski areas. We enjoyed the town, restaurants, brewery etc. We would definitely stay here again.
We were a group of four running the Georgetown Christmas Market Wagon rides. Judoth's cottage is warm and inviting especially coming in from being outdoors all day in the winter cold. Decorated with pretty paintings and stained glass fixtures, comfortable bedding with fun garden room! Loved all the good books as well. Thank you for the pleasant stay
This property was just as described. The host was a good communicator. Check-in was easy. Kitchen was everything we needed and more. Beds were so comfortable. The location was perfect for all we planned to do. Perfect for going into Denver and to Winter Park. Locals were friendly. We would stay again!
This house was to us a real jewel. Beautifully and colorful decorated. The Kitchen fully equipped and full of lots of things like sauces, coffees and others that we were allowed to use. The heating worked well - and also the fireplace. We had a great time in Judith 's house.
Comfortable house for 4 people. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Front sun room was pleasant to sit in and have morning coffee. Parking was a little difficult since everywhere was covered in snow and it was hard to tell where to park. We just parked on the road across from the entrance to the house. There was a shovel that we used to make the entrance more accessible.
It was our first visit to Georgetown and we will be back. The cottage was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked, which was nice because some of the restaurants were closed for the holiday. We really enjoyed playing games in the sunroom area.
The train, shopping, and dining were very convenient. We walked to town several times.
It was a great house and location. We look forward to returning again.
My 13yo son and me spent three days in Georgetown skiing. The house added much to our impressions. It's old but well maintained, tastefully furnished and equipped with appliances. The central heating works perfect, keeping the house warm. The boiler is large so there is enough hot water for any use. The pans and pots are really good - our breakfast oatmeal and pancakes never sticked/burned. Judith met us warmly and cordially, making us feel at home. Thank you so much, we hope to come again next season!
Stayed 3 nights. Just 3 blocks from historic downtown, shops and restaurants. House was used as a jumping off point for daily activities. Close to major sites within 1 hour.
House dated to 1895 but was updated for modern needs. Nature made the yard with plenty of wildflowers. Personalized interior showed an artistic interest.
We walked the neighborhood in total feeling of safety. Drive slowly through the historic homes and take in the details.
This lovely cottage was a nice place to stay for my elderly mother and I. It included most amenities one would need and was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. Satellite, Direct TV, provided in living room. We enjoyed eating our meals in the sun room. We liked that the cottage included a washer and dryer, too. The cottage is within a short walking distance to shops and dining in Georgetown - where everyone is so very, very nice!
Just a few issues but nothing that would prevent me from staying there again.
Safety Issues:
Outside entry - stairs from Biddle St - no hand rail.
Path from house to lower parking stall - completely overgrown and dangerous. I realize this area is naturalized but paths should remain clear and safe.
Need handrails installed in tub/shower - for safety.
Housekeeping:
Floors - very dirty and need a good scrubbing. I was walking barefoot (inside) and the bottoms of my feet were black, within minutes.
Dead bugs on window sills and floor in the sun room.
Upstairs, steps and bedroom carpet needed to be vacuumed.
Dirty dishes in the dishwasher with food crusted on them. We had to run the dishwasher and put everything away.
The cushions were locked up so we were unable to use the patio furniture.
All in all - We enjoyed the cottage and would stay here again but... the housekeeping and safety issues should be addressed.

Ski trip
We skied at Loveland and easy to get to and from and food was easy to find in Georgetown. Some of the items that we list aren’t the owner's problem, just a preference we like and wish we knew before we booked!1. There is no door for the upstairs bedroom and windows upstairs have barely any curtains and no blinds.2. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the spot for you. In the main bedroom you can hear everything upstairs and the wind chimes are right outside your window.3. There are no lights in the house, except the bathroom and minimal lights in the kitchen. 4. All lighting is by lamps and this was a HUGE issue that is not said on the description.5. The only place to sit and eat is in the sunroom and there are no lights or lamps in there, sun goes down at 4:30pm!6. House was not very clean and smelled like smoke. Dishwasher had dishes in it when we arrived and some trash was in a trash bag hanging in the laundry room.7. Bathroom towels smelled like smoke and one had dirt on it.8. Dust in majority of the house and the stairs and upstairs had not been vacuumed.9. Under the beds upstairs was nasty, dirty sock and hat was seen under one of the beds.10. Wifi wasn't working when we arrived and we text the owner twice in the morning and left a message on the app and didn't hear back until the next day. Attempt was made to fix it for us but new password still didn't work.11. Text the night before we left on where to leave the laundry and no reply.
