When inside, it feels more like a high-end hotel rather than a motel. When you're comfy in bed, the only reminder that you're in a forest is the soothing sound of the river. "This location is within waking distance to fast food, and is close to a quality grocery store and the freeway ramp. It's adjacent to Auburn and is set back from a busy street. The staff is friendly and chatted with us when we checked in. We were able to check in early which was a bonus. The rooms include a small refrigerator and a microwave. They serve a hot breakfast, we did not eat there but we saw several families enjoying it. The property is older, the outdoor pool is not heated and the spa jets did not work properly. "
